hey to anyone with the 2007 TL you think it is worth the upgrade from the 06 cause i can get one for a moderately cheap price cause i still got low miles and nonsense like that and havent messed with the motor at all. sooo give me some feedback on what you think, also others with the 2006. (trade it in for a 2007 NBP w/ navi and all the nonsense, type-s

 

GO for 07 TL-S I tradded in my 4 month OLD 06 TL NAV for 07 TL-S SWEET

 

I have a NBP TL-S...great car....the question is, how much would did you originally pay for the 06, how much is the dealer giving you for the car and lastly how much are they going to sell the 07 for....just to see the total "cost" of trading up

 

I have a loaded, A-Spec '06 and I would NOT go for an '07 even if they were giving them away. Now the TL-S on the other hand...

 

I have '05 WDP with RJ's kit and would not go for an '07 either. My plans are to wait and see the new redisigned model which is supposed to come out 2009 and if, and olnly if it looks better than my RJ's '05 then I would get that for sure.

 

For the thousands and thousands of dollars you would pay for lost value on the '06, you should just keep it and mod it. Seriously, it isn't worth the amount of money you'll lose just to trade up one model year that isn't even a complete redesign. Wait until the complete redesigned 2009 models come out or you will REALLY be kicking yourself.

 

The only things that excite me about the '07 versus the '04/5/6 are the Nav Traffic and the Backup camera.

While so many here are holding their shlongs shouting "TYPE-S", keep in mind that a) the dealers are flooded with complaints about the Typs-S's noisy rear suspension, b) Brembo brake jobs cost a lot more, and c) that slightly larger engine uses a bit more gas than the regular TL. Visited a gas station lately? Think $4/gal for premium is far off?

I personally prefer the blue over the red lighting anyway.

 

DMZ...can you elaborate on "a" about the rear suspesion issue you're talking about
