A1 service in Boston
The choices seem to be pretty limited - Acura of Boston and Acura of Peabody. The rest is 30+ miles for me.
Acura of Boston quoted me for $40 which is awesome but they booked till Sep 7th. or 17th if I want Saturday.
Peabody one wants $103 but they could do it this Saturday
Anyone else got different quotes from them ?

HC is a small shop with great techs. That's where I used to service my '02 TL-S. It might be worth giving them a call.

Clair
I just had my A1 done the past Saturday at Clair Acura. It's $57, including oil change($28), tire rotation($24) and free car wash. Plus there is free breakfast in the waiting room. It's pretty good. And yes I bought my TL there too.

Acura of West Chester in PA charged me $44.xx for A1 service. There is usually a 1 week wait for appointments and free car wash coupon or they will wash and vacuum your car if you leave it there. The guys are great there, the mechanic that rode with me in the car to listen to the speaker rattle owns a TL himself. $103 is too expensive just for A1. It cost me less than $100 for the B service I believe.
If you don't need to have the oil changed this moment, meaning your MID doesn't show <5%, then I would wait. however if service quality differs greatly, I would go to the more expensive place since you only have 2 choices near you.

I normally service my car at Acura of Boston. I've never paid more than $30 since I only ask for the oil change and the wash. I've rotated my own tires twice when I did my A-spec suspension install. I will dump my tires at about 20K so I will not pay anyone else to do the rotation. But yeah, $103 is way too much.

I assume they wanted to perform all the service checks for this 103...? I used to have my car serviced there. I would say their service department is marginal at best. Tell them what you want done and it should be less than 100 bucks. Make sure you walk around your car when you pick it up. Acura of peabody put 3 dents in my trunk lid two years back and while they did fix the car it was sitting somewhere else in peabody for 10 days before I got it back. It was enough time to fix the car about 3 times over. I had a tsx loaner...
