Can the Honda dealer provide the A1 service for my TL? I just got the MID warning and oil life < 15%. The Acura dealer is about an hour away, the Honda dealer is 10 minutes. I spoke with Honda and they said they could perform any of the routine maintanence, but none of the diagnostics.

I know its silly, but can the Honda dealer provide good service on the Acura TL? I can't see any reason why not.

Yes. They will be able to take car of pretty much anything.

Yes honda is good also pretty much the same thing, they might even be cheaper also!

I just called Honda at Stevens Creek (in San Jose) and they said they don't service Acuras. Of course the person that answered didn't sound confident, so maybe she didn't know.

Honda would be able to do an A1 service (not sure about the air filter) but everything else would be the same as any Honda.

I work at my local honda dealership and we do acuras all the time, they use the same parts as acura would use on your car!
