Well I have a 99 tl with I/H/E and lightened my car up a bit. I pulled up to a turbo solstice and chatted with the guy for a minute, after finding out that they have 260 hp and 260 torque I told him he should be able to walk all over me. When the light turned green he sorta had the jump, but I stayed right next to him 1st, 2nd and third he pulled about a car and slowly kept pulling but I let off when he was a car length away because we were doing about 80-90mph but I wasnt too impressed. His car hit 2nd gear really hard chirping the tires and it looked fast but just wasnt really pulling away from me. They are supposed to run a 14.1 in the quarter. Let me know if anyone else has run one yet.

 

Howd you lighten up the car?

 

removed tire, jack, all padding and plastics in trunk,removed resonator, pre-muffler added test pipes, removed both bumper supports, all heat shields under car, and most plastic covers under car.

 

Either he's not a very good driver or you have an abnormally fast 2nd gen base model!
