Hey guys my friends brother in law wanted me to ask what you guys think would win. The Prelude is a M/T has an exhaust and a CF hood and he's an ok driver. The TL would be stock either A/T or M/T doesn't matter. He also thinks that the louder the exhaust the faster the car.

 

AT or MT, doesn't matter, the TL will take it if those are the conditions.

 

That's what we were trying to tell him but he doesn't believe us. I figured if he saw it on AZ that he would realize that we're right.

 

My roomate had a 97 Prelude SH 5MT with AEM CAI and DC Sports Headers. When I was stock in my 03 Accord V6 5AT I was pulling on him pretty good. I would have about 3 cars on him by 90MPH and he was a good driver. It didn't matter if it was from a roll or a dig he would get stompt. So a auto TL being very close in the power to weight ratio dept. should take a Prelude no problem!

I have not lose to 1 prelude yet, lol

 

I almost did once. The guy got the jump and I bogged off the line. He didn't get his door past my bumper before I pulled on him, haha.

P.S. There are two boosted Ludes around here, but I've never raced either one. Both are my friends but I just don't see them enough to bother asking, haha.

he has no chance at all against you. waste him and shut him up. then let him drive you're car and you drive his and then he'll see that you're right.

 

The thing is he talks so much trash but doesn't want to race and I would never let him drive my car.

 

then when he talks just say. "Do you want to race or are you scared of losing". When he replies with some BS then just tell him to either stop talking or race you and then ignore his ass when he makes up excuses.

 

I pretty much tell him that all the time but he just won't give it up.

 

then beat his ass. LOL
