lol yeah but not a big deal when you look at what it means and here the test said a 6MT 0-60 was 6.2 seconds.

It does not say anything about being rattle free... A lot of these tests are based on a one time drive for a new car. That says nothing abour real world ownership of a car where you buy one and keep it for 3 or more years...

6.2 is not bad for a 3400+ lb four door sedan, i bet if they didn't have the stock tires and drove it a few more times they could have gotten the times to under 6. having about 20K miles on my 6MT the car is pretty quick off the line and i am very happy with the performance from this sedan.

You guys need to realize that <5% (maybe <1%) of all 3rd Gen TL owners are posting in this forum. And, of that say 4%, only 2% have rattle issues.

Look, I'm not saying that the car doesn't rattle, it does. But, I'll bet that not even a majority of owners are experiencing what many of our members are. If you want an accurate poll/survey, you're going to need a MUCH larger sample than what this forum has to offer.

This exact argument was used when the trannies started busting on the 2nd gen There probably are rattle problems but it isn't limited to just Acura. All manufacturers are using more plastics these days.

True, and when I traded in my '01 CL-S it was on its third tranny. All I'm trying to say is that this forum doesn't come close to representing the majority of TL owner experiences.

I still do not understand how come you guys got these problems with rattles..it must be simply bad luck!
Two of my friends have 2004 TLs and both are rattle free. My 2005 TL is rattle free.
This is by far the best car I ever owned so far.
