Hi, Im new here and I just bought a 2005 TL 6spd. I couldn't find a 6spd w/ navi and red that they were never made. Is this true? I see some sigs with people that have navi and 6spd but are they all conversions? Or did they actually make them? Im in Canada btw.

 

I have a 6spd w/ navi. Although pretty rare, they do exist from the factory.

 

where are you from in Canada? When I was looking for a TL I haven't seen a single one with a 6speed/navi, they are very very rare in canada. But there are some I'm sure of it. a year after I got my car, AM A-spec was for sale with NAVI and 6 speed and the guy wanted 28 000$ for an 06. so there are some out there

 

I searched on cars.com and found 2 RRP (red) TL's w/ navi and 6MT for sale. Located in the US.

 

I think he meant to put read...not red. Or maybe i'm wrong...i was somewhat confused by the post.

 

red was never offered in canada as a colour for the TL, and on autotrader in the Toronto region I have only seen a few tls' w/ 6spd and navi, so yes they do exist. Most of the time you will see one but not the other.

 

^ good point AM. either way, they do exist i.e 6MT & Navi.

 

My '04 is a manual with Nav. I'm the original owner and its pristine.. garage kept and has never seen snow.
My other TL is an '05 automatic with Nav and has seen snow (it's the wife's).

 

plenty out there, just gotta be patient for them to go on sale.

bought an NBP 05 TL , 6MT, Navi from a beemer dealership two days ago. Gorgeous. They are out there..

the OP is talking base tl not the type -S, yes type-s = 6mt with Nav but base TL with nav and 6mt ar more rare... but they do exist

I looked for over a year and only saw three locally, one i went to go buy but it sold the morning i went to look at it, then i called the dealerships and asked them to call me if one came in, a week later i had an 06 wdp/ebony 6sp w/nav. I had basically no dicker room on it though because they are quite sought after.

 

I am from Vancouver BC. Damn, maybe I should of waited for one then. It is rare enough to find a 6spd. Not sure how much more it would of cost me though.

Just do a nav conversion. Its all about the navi

 

I found one with navi in Tampa and one w/o in Orlando. The one in Orlando had lower miles and it was closer. That's what I got. I'm happy with it.

 

6spd with navi is rare in Canada I see al ot of 6spd non navi here in Toronto. I had 2 order mine and wait 3 months when I bought it in 06. The dealer had 3 6spd's on the lot but couldn't find a navi one in all of Ontario. The piss off was after the wait for mine I find out that the Type S was out the next model year.

 

6spds with Navi are rare indeed, especially in MY color combo of which only a couple hundred or so were made between '04 & 5. I had to wait 3 full months after ordering mine 6 years ago, ordered on Jan 31st and delivered on May 1st .... and I'm in New Yawk!

In fact, to the best of my knowledge, I'm the only one here on AcuraZine with this exact combination.

When I got my NBP/6mt/navi back in 05 I had to wait about 3 weeks for the dealer to locate one. I bought mine from Park Ave Acura in Maywood, NJ. I think they found my car at Bridgewater Acura. The dealer told me, at the time I test drove the TL, that they were getting 2 silver/black 6mt/navi's the next week. I was so excited to get the car I said ok, when in reality I didn't like silver cars. By the time I got home from the dealership I called back and said I wanted a NBP or WDP. I had my choice of NBP/black/parch, i ended up going parchment interior. I also got it at $200 over invoice. Kind of cool knowing I have a "rare" car. I still think if I decide to sell it's going to be difficult because it's stick.

 

I have a 2004 6MT with Navi, purchased in August 2004 in Northern Virginia. NBP with the camel interior. I originally wanted to get an RRP, but there were none around at the time. The dealer got the NBP in stock within a week, so I went for that because I needed a car as my previous one had been totalled the week before. I don't see very many 6MT TLs in the DC area in general, much less 6MT with Navi. The 6MT car I test-drove at the dealer did not have the Navi; only the 5AT I drove on the initial test drive had it.

 

Since no one from Canada has chimmed in with the 6 spd/navi...ive had mine for about a yr now...i searched up and down for it...but wasnt gonna settle for somethin i didnt want!...its 2005 NBP and came with the stock trunk lip!...I love this car and cant wait to start modding this summer!
