Driving on the Jackie Robinson last night I see headlights coming up fast. I know the vehicle approaching is a TL. The car blows past me and I got after him.

This is where SH-AWD is FTW. I dont know who is from NYC here but the Jackie Robinson has a lot of curves. I catch him in the curves and gave it to him...butttt

after we left the curves we decided to run neck and neck...and...I hear 1...chirp...2..chirp and some warning lights up head...

I love the TL-S in stick.

 

thats impressive for him to chirp 1st and 2nd...

 

Get a good enough driver, and tires that cooperate, you can get the base 6MT to chirp in first and second as well. Used to do it in my '06 6MT.

 

I hope you can chirp 1st and 2nd in a 6MT TL.....

Btw I think the OP was talking about his own SH-AWD in his RL and that he beat a 3G Type S in the twisties...hence the chirping of the tires.

 

yeah sonnick is right. The twisties he had no chance really. but when we got off....


he blew me away lol

 

I can chirp at 3rd gear *easily* with my Mazdaspeed 3. It has too much of power.
