no point fixing what ain't broke. 5W-20 Mobil 1 for me. never had any issues/problems with fuel economy. I even have last year's fuel consumption records to show its all about how you drive, not the oil in the crankcase.

does everyone ever revv match using their triptronics?!...am i the only one?...........................although i did stop recently...cheaper to repair the pads than engine parts...
You will be fine with the 5-20. The engine is not going to blow up or anything. However, if you like to push it and especially for long periods of time, a good 5-30 or 10-30 will give you better protection. The HTHS number is good look at. If you find a 5-20 with a decent HTHS number, use it. I wanted a 3.4 or better which is hard or impossible to do with a 5-20.

im on 0w-30 mobil 1 right now and its the same as 5w-20 or 30..... the throttle is slightly more sensative but i dont think its the oils fault....most likely mental but the gas milage stayed the same i drove from fl to NY and it was the same the whole way as if i was using 5-20

I just stick with the Acura recommended 5W-20.

Walmart seems to have the best price on Pennzoil Platinum synthetic.
