Wanted to post a separate thread so people planning on purchasing these new Tritons can easily watch this video without scrolling through numerous pages just to find a comparison video in the other triton thread.

Both switchbacks were purchased from VLEDs.

 

Hahaha you really cant even see the other one at all. Thats why I am constantly telling people to not even bother with those tower LED's. They simply do not work good and even more so in any sort of day light conditions they just disappear.
Is your passenger side fender liner all messed up?

 

Lol yeah my passenger side fender liner went thru hell. The plastic clip that was holding it in broke loose while I was driving and the plastic fender liner started to rub against my tire while I was driving and it melted. Didn't realize it until a few days later lol

I just bought the autopartsgeek (I think that's what the site is call) and just order them thru there. $12 each plus shipping

 

very nice video. It's about as I expected, I know the tritons will embarass the regular tower smds in brightness. But I'd like to see how my 10 amber crees stack up to the tritons. Pretty sure it will be dimmer than the tritons, but it is about $40 so its much cheaper. I do want the tritons but I just feel like if I wanted to be the brightest I would do something insane(like my license plate lights). If I ever get my hands on the turn signals PCB from a bmw or mercedes....
