59k miles, change from dino oil to synthetic?

59k miles, change from dino oil to synthetic?

looking at picking up a 59k mile tl-s, no idea whether or not it has synthetic oil or dino oil its whole life. im a mobil1 guy at heart, is it okay to do this even if its on regular oil?

Yep. And I have read on here you can you go back to dino oil too if you want. I started running synth at 50k.

YES! Get a good quality synthetic in there ASAP! I suggest you seafoam the crankcase as well to help clean out any sludge the dino-oil might have left behind, and use a upper end quality synthetic, Amsoil, Royal Purple, etc.

for seafoam and nothing goes into my type s now but amsoil synthetic

Dino's fine, but if you want to spend the extra $$$$, you can awitch to a synthetic any time you want.
Seafoam, another waste of time and money!
