My 08 TL w/o Navi has 49000 and the MID reads 30%. I have a busy next couple of weeks and will end up with over 1500 additional miles. Since the warranty is over at 50k I want to take it in a little early for some minor warranty issues but i don't know what routine maintenance the MID will indicate at 50K and don't trust the dealer to give me the required info. Want to make only one trip to dealer.
What should I have done? Thanks.

 

Looks like just an oil change from the info you've provided. Of course probably tire rotation as well. But these are not warranty items. Anything broke? Lights, switches, handling, etc?

 

change the air filter, cabin air filter, oil, transmition fluid change (3x3). check the brake pads and rotors if they have never been changed.

 

Thank you very much. The car is fantastic, love it! Everything major is working great. Not bad for 49k in 18 months.
Just a couple of minor things like noisy moon roof. Fading dash is a potential but it's first on my list for them to look at. I'm getting 31-32 mpg on long trips! Thanks for your input.

 

I believe there is a TSB if your sunroof is rattling.

 

Damn now THATS some serious miles on an 08. Dont want to move any closer to work?

 

Damn thats a crap load of my miles. My 05 only has 46k on it.

 

Nothing too special at 50k other than regular oil change and tire rotation.

- Engine Filter
- Cabin Filter
- Transmission Fluid
- Brake Fluid (every 2-3 years)

 

Can't move any closer. Sales job. Cover NJ, NY, New England & Ontario and Quebec provinces.
