Hey I don't know, but just replacing your old ass bulbs by brand new ones, either OEMs, Phillips, Morimoto or CBI will make quite the difference.
I don't know when my bulbs got last changed, but I'm looking forward cleaning up the headlights and dropping those XB35 in.

Rocky...totally, man...Andrew from TRS was really cool though...I paid full price but they do sell the CBI also. Great people to deal with...he didn't even give me a hard time or charge me a restocking fee on the XB's that looked green to me.
One thing that I will say as I thought about it more and more is the condition of your lenses. In my old lights, they had a slight yellowish hue to them since the UV coating was gone...obviously blue and yellow make green...so it could have helped with the green look. I don't know...I thought I was crazy too but I swear when looking right at them it was green.
Also...I'm an idiot...I paid full price for CBI...didn't like that they didn't match my hyperjdmyo 6K other bulbs and sold them to a friend at friend pricing ...got ddm bulbs, then mori's...then 85122...finally ended up having to send them ALL back and went back to CBI. I loved them so much it made me decide to go back to amber instead of white everywhere...fk it, if it wasn't a perfect match, I'd rather they really not match.

I was coming from Kaixens which I find to be way superior to the XB35s. Not a big surprise since they cost 3x more. The Kaixens were 8500k in a brilliant blue no green at all. I know most people don't like the bluish bulbs but I do like a slight hint of blue. I have 3000k yellows in the fogs for the rainy days. That's why I went with 6000k XB35s. Not terrible bulbs at all, just not what I was expecting.
I don't mean to put TRS down in terms of service. I've said it before and I totally agree that the strong point about TRS is the staff. Most of us will universally agree with that. They replaced a couple sets for me with no hassle.
But once my warranties hit that 2yr mark I'm out of luck. So basically I bought these products for 2yrs of service. So product-wise I would place TRS quality at just a notch above the generic EBay stuff. It's nothing special IMO. The Philips, Osrams etc. is WAY better stuff.
Actually I saw a set of CBIs on EBay for $100 before I went with TRS. I was gonna jump on them and then I read about all the counterfeit fake CBIs out on EBay and I backed out. The ones that are from authorized distributors were substantially more. Should have just shelled out and done it right the 1st time.

Yea Rockstar, good point. I really thought it might be my headlights themselves too; optics/yellow UV age-fade. My lenses are in good condition. Car is always garaged and I hit the lenses on the car with Plast-X once in awhile I have a couple different brands of single D2S bulbs laying around to compare and test with and I actually tried doing that. The XB35s definitely had a slight green hue. Sadly EBay garbage 8000k bulbs I had lying around actually looked cleaner. I hope no one thinks I mean real green here. Just a very slight green. Kinda makes a light cyan color maybe?

Dude the light is going and reaching around CORNERS in the bottom picture!
Rocky, totally, man...same thing happened to me...bought some from ebay, I caught the seller in a lie after some research online told me they were fake. Returned them, bought the real deal from TRS and called it a day. Then the whole dumb rockstar effect kicked in where I wanted "more blue" and shouldn't have spent that much money and I bought the slew of lesser bulbs after selling them to a friend for a heavily discounted price. Then, a month later, after being unhappy with output after having seen how far the CBI shine...I paid full price AGAIN for them. Dummies be dumb.

Just messing with you.
Good test, except I'm sure no one said 55W unknown halogens could compete with 35W xenon CBI in one of the best projector available.

It was really about brightness at that point...although the color matching was VERY off...even in pictures.
I may have stone chips...but you know what I don't have? I don't have a care in the world about my freshly painted bumper on my 11 year old car as I drive 85 mph down the highway!

Stone chips are bound to happen. Being "as low" as you are, I'd eat orange size chunks of ice and snow in the bumper everyday. Compared to that, a few chips ain't so bad.

I have the OEM ballasts. The XB35s I'm using are D2S for the Bi-xenons. Yea I know how it can be with ballasts. About 10yrs ago I put in expensive Hella ballasts in my old car. "Supposedly" high end stuff. I thought the bulbs were color shifting but it was the ballast causing the problems.
Oh man I went through a lot of pain trying to color match everything on the car back in 2007. All 6 HIDs with the switchbacks, sidemarkers, puddle lights and everything. At one point I got it dead on. Back then white LEDs were generally in a bluish or purplish hue. Nowadays they can be anything including more yellowish (warm) and completely neutral. Once I started upgrading things here and there the colors are all over the place now. Pics can't tell the truth, hues even vary from the same manufacturer for different types of bulbs. "Cool" white and "Warm" white mean little to me. You can't know till you put it on the car. Meh whatever, I don't care anymore.

My dad has xb35s 5500k that I bought for him a month ago. His output as well as looking directly looking at the headlights are pure Arctic snow white color. Non of that cyan green hue you guys are talking about.
I previously had morimoto 3five in 5000k and was also very white. I'm ocd about lighting also and would definitely notice if there was any tinge of blue or green in the output.
It's possible that your ballasts are going out maybe?
