3rd Gen TL intake question.

Hey guys, just a quick question. Looking to probably consider getting a 3rd Gen TL (Among other Acuras I'm considering) and wondering is it possible to use the K and N short ram intake kit with the 3.2, I know it says its for the 3.5 Type S, but I'm pretty sure its pretty much the same for the 3.2.
Any thoughts?

Less expensive and a true cold air intake. Plus it has a bung to transfer your AIT sensor to the intake so it'll drive better in the summer.

I just use Car ID as general search when looking up mods for cars, I haven't gotten the car yet, that won't happen till November. Looking to get a 2007 or 2008 depending which one I get my hands on, would like to get a Type S, but I'm weary buying a used Type S since they're more prone to being abused.
