3rd/4th Gear Pressure Switch Replacement on 2007

Are the clutch pressure sensors the same for the 2004 to 2006 as they are for the 2007 and 2008 TL's? Mine is doing the whole rough down shift thing in 4th and 3rd gear. I also notice it has a touch too much fluid in it, so, I'm hoping that either the fluid or the sensors are the issue. If it's not, I notice that, somehow, swapping and 07 for 07 trans is cheaper than an 01 rebuild or even the 01 transmissions themselves like wtf? Generally speaking are the 04 thru 06 that different from the 07 or 08? I notice searching for 07 or 08 jobs yields little information.

Negatory.. different transmission therefore different switches.

You just gotta learn how to search properly, the internal search tool sucks. Use google, add "site:acurazine.com" and then add the search query like so: https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C...iz.w8DyXMxJFLM

You'll find two DIY's for 04-06 versus 07-8:

Thanks for the help man, I appreciate it! Really, really hoping that's what it is. Got a shop in town that will do it for $100. If only there was a way to determine that this was the issue lol

Sounds pretty indicative of pressure switches being bad. If you've also never changed fluid, it'd be a good time to do it as well.
