sigh... I was thinking about it yesterday, as I looked at my multimeter. I've had zero desire to do anything about it, but I should. After doing so much maintenance on the fucker, I just feel I should drive it into the ground and that's it. Still so many little issues. I replaced the starter with an aftermarket one... barely 3 months old and it's starting to go.
Replaced the CMC after so many issues with it, with a new OEM piece... it's showing signs of being craptastic. Occasionally, I'll push the clutch pedal down and something happens... I can't put or remove the car from gear, and it feels like the clutch pedal is more firm than usual and doesn't disengage the clutch fully... so if you try letting the pedal come back up, at about 1/4 way, it wants to stall out. Not normal. Only happens on occasion so I'm thinking the CMC is compromised. It was fine for the first 6 weeks and now it's being a bitch, though not getting any worse.
Bought a 07-08 DVD drive off a member here... it got fucked up during shipping. It works, but I have to replace the laser thingy... it's like $80 bucks and straight from China (aliexpress...). Don't really feel like bothering with it.

I feel really bad for the family.. but that Prof is right.. she remarked..

CBC has some cool programming on the radio on the weekends... they were reporting a story of a guy that went travelling to china 17 years ago and dissapeared. Chinese authorities said he died at some river and never looked into It more. Family didn't believe it and went to china to look for him. They ended up finding clues and evidence of him being alive. Turned out he was kidnapped by NK agents, to teach KIm Jong Il's kids English, amongst other shit. He's apparently residing in NK these days, married with two kids now... but no contact with his fam or the outside world. Kinda fucked up.

He was pleasant and otherwise a good kid.. but his mistake was thinking NK was a joke.
He tried to steal a propaganda poster while visiting on some guided tour (not associated with school)
They found it in his possession when leaving country.
Huge public trial.. he cried and weeped and sulked through it.
Sentenced to 15 years hard labor.
Died in a year or less.. coma for several months before being returned.
He died promptly after coming home. Very sad and stupid at the same time.
