Mrs UlsterBoy's b-day tomorrow and like usual i haven't planned anything spectacular...i suck...was gonna go to San Antonio for her Bday and the 4th but sooo hard doing anything with kiddos at this age....wonder if i should just go the jewelry route and a spa day...

and its not them per se, it all the packing you gotta do just to get away for a day or two, diapers, avengers underwear for Mini Me #1, and Justice league Undies for me....

got 2 quotes on headlight restoration yesterday, both offered the sanding and clear coating, one just said they would do it on the car, the other said they would remove the headlights completely from car to do it....$75 or $130....meh we shall see, maintenance first....

Definitely no need to remove them. I've seen it done a plethora of times with the lights on the car still and zero issues. It might even be easier that way, because you don't have to worry about the light moving on you while sanding.

Pretty sure it's all done by hand anyway, so destroying the surrounding paint shouldn't be a concern.

My buddy charges $100 for both headlights and does it on the car...better that way otherwise you gotta tape up for overspray. Plus, easier.
No nut punches, just nut hugs.

I know I can out talk most people. I'm sorry. I just like sharing stories and stuff.
