My personal laptop was an earth-moving (back then) Sony VAIO VPCZ1390 i7 bought back in 2011...it's getting up there in age even if it's still purring just fine. Bought it back then with my tech allowance to prove a point that Mac l33t books were not all that l33t and something more or less the same cost could punt them to orbit.

i mean my work laptop ain't all that earth shattering.. Run of hte mill Lenovo T440P with an i5 and i put 16 gigs of RAM in there.. came with a 256 GB SSD so it's good enough for AZ..


What more do I need? My 'personal laptop' was top of the line MBP bought when i went to college back in '07. It has since been passed on to better usage in Sunny floriduh... Now I just have a Mac Mini i use at home. I don't really need a high powered machine anymore.

In that case my Mac has 1TB of ram

It's awesome because it make my McAffee Antivirus work so much quicker now. It keeps finding viruses and trojans and stuff left and right since I installed the RAMs.
