There's only two things I'm hoping will happen from this election:
1. Keystone XL pipeline gets built and Alberta's economy starts to pick up again.
2. The US dollar gets hammered far worse than the Canadian dollar and I can buy car parts for cheap again!

You might be right about the dollar suffering here. That oil pipeline would help bring Canada up a bit, but it won't be enough. Beyond that, I just checked the exchange rates and they're exactly what they were before.

It's nice here again. The 6 inches of snow we had a few weeks ago is all gone.. we're hitting 15-20C this week. That's crazy for November weather here.
