the Irish guy told me to make a car bomb and drink it and it'll make me feel better!

Thanks Chad...yeah, I'm not in a roush to buy anything yet. The rears seems to be holding up pretty well considering how often I light em up.

Talking to local car folk, I've never heard good things about Pirelli tires. If they do have a good tire, it is also expensive. I'd take a look at these new Pirelli's, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I've never been "impressed" with a tire until the PSS...so I'd like to check that out for myself when they are available although I highly doubt they'll have any discounts on them for the first few years and we al know how "cheap" I am.

It annoys me that my front tires are PS A/3 or some shit...pretty sure the ride quality would be far superior with the PSS but you already know the fronts will last me another 100K miles.

Dude, the oil interval guy is not liking getting teabagged by gatr

Gatr's teabag is more like a potato sack.. I don't imagine it's very pleasant
J's teabag is a soft coin purse owned by an old lady.. It doesn't look like it's got anything in it..
but there's a nickel in there and one piece of werther's original (no wrapper). Just keep looking..

Fuck...remember putting candies and coins in your cupholder and eventually it's this really nice art sculpture you WANT to throw away, but you're too appreciative of money so you waste an hour under hot water with a paper towel to recover your $1.57?

Well the thing is I've made new friends on new forums. People that are in the industry...in the know. People that have more money in wheels and tires than your car is worth. Pirelli will announce new tires very soon that will supplant the PSSs reign.

I seriously don't even know why I post anymore...let alone try to be helpful...when all you do is shit on it. In the half dozen forums I frequent there isn't a single person that is half as toxic as you are Maj. I just don't understand.

But luckily I won't have to for very long. TL is sold.

Curious why you choose to hone in on Majofo's posts and then only really react to that. We're having dialogue here...
That post is very vague about a bunch of friends with fine Italian shoes worth more than your life.

I'd look forward to seeing those Pirellis!
Plus, the TL wasn't what kept you coming back to ramblings...be honest.

Congrats on the sale! Did you get the full 9K?
I swear, if I was serious about going back to TL...I would have probably bought it from you.

Because he's the only abrasive response. What dialogue?

dude, seriously? Bragging about your rich forum friends? C'mon, man.

Even if Pirelli does come out with such a tire... It will be fucking expensive. So you can get the PSS that perform 9/10, or you get Pirelli something rather see that perform 9.5/10... How often do you drive your car to the point where you'd notice that difference? The tires have to be well warmed up to get that kind of advantage from them. You won't muster that even doing spirited city driving.

For someone who doesn't track their car, paying additional money for performance that will likely never be utilized, I don't see the advantage. Overall, Pirelli has never had a very good track record for price or performance. I'm not saying they're shit- but for the money, there are better options.

Again, Pirelli will have to come out with a doozy to make a tire that great at a decent price point. They've never done it to date. I also hope none of these tires will use the tech that pirellis F1 tires have. Those things are known for being catastrophic pieces of shit that regularly explode while driving (there's many reasons for this, not all their fault, but still...)

I'm not bragging at all. LOL

Jesus you guys make it hard. Is it just me? If someone else came in here and said the same thing, would you all react the same way? I truly hope not.

Insider info usually is vague J. I know not the model...I don't know much. All I know is I was told, by people who sell wheels and tires, by people who help R&D products on the street, by people who have 5 sets of wheels with 5 sets of PSSs, that new tires are coming and they are suppose to be fantastic. Seriously, let's be honest, how long have PSS be out? Even Michelin themselves have two or three new versions of the PSS coming soon. Compounds are constantly improving.

Hell I'll be even more honest. I would never buy PSS. I don't need that kind of performance on a dd for the street. I'd rather have a tire that doesn't wear that fast or kick up as much junk/isn't as soft.

I dunno what you're talking about. My RE-11A's are hard as hockey pucks. 3 of the 4 tires have a nail in them and not a single one leaks air. 2 of the nails are from last year

Not leaking, fuggit, they're staying.

FWIW, on the TL, I never saw tire chunks everywhere...and with the V, I only saw some tire remnants once from the PSS and that was cause I was rubbing fender
I only bought the PSS cause Andy and Justin got in my head about mad traction yo with 300whp in the blue TL but in reality, I could just modulate better and NOT lose traction almost ever.

They do ride nice and quiet, smooth and corner really well though so I like them. Plus, I got the set for $670 shipped after rebates so it wasn't a huge jump from my normal budget of about $400 for a set.

We're better forum friends anyhow.
