Quick question/opinion where best tire prices are? Discount? Tire Rack? Local shop?
Need to look into new tires for the Datsun, might look into a shade bigger than stock. Dealer says they will beat any price.

I personally find that discount tire direct is the absolutely best with customer service and normally pricing
only time i stray is if i'm looking for a particular brand.
Tirerack treat you like shit, and charge for shipping, but their pricing is usually better to offset DTD being more expensive but including shipping.
I once ordered a set of tires from DTD...used for 5 months, was told there was cupping...complained, they sent me new tires and labels for the old ones...the new ones they sent me, I ordered too wide, they sent me labels and sent me the new ones...never balking at the shipping charges both ways for MY mistakes. IN the end, the vibration was from a bad balance too, although I think those tires were crap.

If you're not in a rush, wait for a sale...I got their credit card which I use for the additional $75 discount usually on a set of fwhore and then pay it off immediately...
