FWIW, I've never eaten canine...but, there are parts of the HAMA-GAO-CHO Cantonese and southern Asian regions that eat doggie.

I used to use Amsoil religiously in my Hondas. "High revving engine bro, gotta use the best!"

Boy did that end up being a waste of money

I can understand if you're hitting up a racetrack (and I would really use it then), but otherwise, all you're doing is emptying your wallet faster. You're not getting any noticeable improvements with your car... look at that guy that just did 500,000 miles with his TSX. Pretty sure he didn't rely on Amsoil to get him there.

No matter what I do though, I'd never beat an RLX...even if it gave me a 10 minute head-start.

Well, it certainly wouldn't hurt to use amsoil... But even running Dino oil these days will keep the engine alive for longer than you intend on owning it. It's crazy how advanced oils are these days. They keep making improvements and even oil from 10 years ago isn't as good as today's. I can't totally remember how it works, but for every time some kind of notable improvement is made, they move down a letter in the alphabet.

To to be honest, I used to love buying amsoil. Felt like I was giving my car the gold treatment every time I changed the oil. But the engin still eventually started to consume oil and adding in extra Amsoil wasn't cheap. Decided to go to conventional synthetics, like Castrol, after that. It hurt my pockets less

That too. You need the right soy sauce though.

Apparently chadpinderdeep doesn't like soy sauce

You can replace the soy sauce with a delectable chutney, if you prefer...

So I swung by the shop and its purely just an Amsoil shop. Guy offered their membership for $20 bucks a year to get 25% off list price. I was gonna ask if anyone here had thoughts on amsoil but like you said I will prob just end up using OEM fluids and Mobil 1 or something like that. I just wanted to see his prices for Oil, ATF, PS fluid and Brake Fluid as I want to change all those in the near future.

Sample prices before any discounts below.

$9.10 for 1 qt OE ATF
$12.45 for 1 qt signature series ATF
$11.50 for Synthetic 0w30
$7.65 for dot 3 brake fluid bottle
$7.60 for PS fluid
