Me (thinking): Dang, J's on one right now. I mean, sure Jeff's lights were a little off, but it's not that bigadeal. He's probably got them aligned, but it's just a cutoff beam... Maybe he means the amber turns??? But how is that "lewd or lasci--"
Ahhhhhhh!!!! Headlights...

In addition...I walked to the grocery store and got annoyed by this oak tree that never gets trimmed that's right in front of this house we're pretty sure is full of meth heads. So of course I came home and got my cutters and went back under the stealthy night and cut ALL the low hanging branches so people can walk along the sidewalk without obstacles...ended up trimming all the low branches...one guy came out to have a cigarette...I could tell he really couldn't see me so I just muttered something like "sidewalk, needed a trim" and then scurried across the street and down the block to circle back to my house so he wouldn't see where I came from.
I love my life.
Damn H...that house is so sexy...we don't see interesting Frank Lloyd Wright architecture down here!
Question, I'm assuming with the way the windows are placed on the garage door you opted to only have a grow operation on the right and
you left the left space for the sea creature?
I was on one yesterday but I still stand by it...you posted so freely before and now it's been mission critical top secret!
Tell her she did good, she looks amazing!
Y'all better watch out...I mounted new rear tires on my lawnmower yesterday. That was a BITCHHHHH...had never done that before, I thought they had tubes,
turns out they're tubeless so at least I can return the innertubes for a refund. Had I known that's where the slow leak was coming from I probably would have pulled
the valve core out and put some stan's no tubes in there (bicycle product)...although the tread was pretty cooked on both. When I'd make a sharp turn in dewy grass
...watch out for that...
FENCEEEE...lol...I hit the chain link fence, I hit the house...I was like, yep...gonna need new tires.
Anyway, used the 12" tire irons and my bare feet to muscle the old off and new ones on...poured 2 oz of tubeless juice in (figured it would work in this application too) and
voila! Hit it with the compressor and they seated...plus is if I run over a thorn or something, it'll self seal...although that's unlikely because these are 4 ply.
Still shooting for YOTM runner up, although I must ask. What the fuck does J have to do with lawns?
I was on one! Damn those 10 percent beers! LMAO!

Yummy house looks cool!!
J if you had asked Maja before attempting anything yard related you would have known all you needed to know...:face palm:
on a side note, here's hoping the news reports from Louisiana about a RDX getting wrapped around a tree and burning to a crisp in some Podunk town around 12:01am are true!!!!!

LOL, no the garage windows are just aesthetic...adds to the modern look really.
We had originally planned for a more rectangular/square roof-line. However, with the winters here, it's truly asking for it as maintaining that roof will be challenging and would require work every few years. There was a creative way the builder offered to create a very square front facade but that was a $15K feature and we just didn't have the budget with the other upgrades we had opted for (i.e. open risers from 2nd floor to basement, stairs for the deck to the ground-level)...
We had wanted something like this originally but our realtor who helped us with the build process as well as one of my best friends who is in the home-construction business talked us out of it. For places like Vancouver, sure...but, where we're at...bad idea esp. if alot of snow begins to pile up on the flat roof.
In that pic there, the builder had originally proposed to create a mono-slope angling downwards from the left BEHIND the face...so, while it may have looked like a square house, if you looked from above, you'll see a mono-sloping roofline. But, in order to build the extended wall across the back to support that, it was like $15K or something. Not worth it.
Not sure if my description makes any sense...but, Civvies like Taco may understand the gibberish I'm yammering about.
