The only wrong path is one that does not make me happy. If that ends up being the case, regardless of what I'm doing or heading, I will change course. Thus far, this path feels like the one I wanted to be on, at least 5 years ago.

Let's also keep in mind that what makes you happy, isn't necessarily the same as what makes me happy. I'm not doing any of this because I'm trying to get back at her, or trying to make a point. I'm doing this because this is what ive always wanted. And this was the shit I wanted to do when I was with her, but couldn't. For many reasons.

I've let two complete strangers and their two dogs move into my place, to help them get up and on their feet. They moved here from out east, looking for a better life and work, and were fucked by their first landlord, the week thy moved here. They aren't paying me rent, and their dogs are fucking up some of my shit. But you know what, I was in dire straights before too, and needed help. I'm just passing along the Favor. Again, I don't hate women. It's clear that through typing, a ton of context is lost. Nor is it feasible for me to state every thought in intricate detail, because fuck that shit. I also don't expect a married and settled man to even remotely understand. 6 months ago, I would've balked at the same shit.


I don't hate women. At all. But it is important to understand how women think. It can be very advantageous. Women don't even understand women psychology half the time. They are very complex creatures, compared to men. I'm not saying use it against them. No no... use it to your and her (whoever she is) advantage.

I too have never liked being alone. It's part of the reason I'm holding out. How can I be a strong partner if I can't even handle myself or being alone? They always say, do what you love first and foremost and Everything else will fall into place. To me, that means if I'm happy with who I am and what I do everyday, it will more than likely result in meeting someone, somewhere, sometime. When and where? I have no idea. But does it matter? If that's all I worry about everyday, how else will everything else improve around me?

Being happy brings out that positive and attractive energy. Maybe starting a business will result in overworking and a hate for my life. If that's the case, I will drop that shit asap. Dust myself off and chase something else. But I won't know until I try... and being afraid won't change anything either. And I by no means am any sort of alpha ATM. I'm just trying to figure shit out and piece it together, day by day. I have a long way to go before I could consider myself that. And that's ok. Rome wasn't built in a day either.

And beyond that, I've got dreams like everyone else. I even have crazy ones, like wanting to earn a mill every year, like everyone likely has, regardless what they are. The only difference is I've got a blank canvas in front of me now, to try it all without worrying about shit, like if my SO can get braces, or if we are saving enough for a vacation that I'm not necessarily even excited for, but I'm trying to be the good husband and compromise on shit I want, for someone else. Why wouldn't I want to exploit that, while I can?
