Happened stupidly often with one of my bikes that it would deseat during riding. There was no problem visible with the wheel but I always had the feeling it was ever so slightly too small. That was stupid as heck because that slows you down pretty quickly when you're going downhill...

Not cool when it's the front wheel, which it was.

There was a custom low-ride I built when I was a teen, banana seat, chopper handles, chrome everything, parts reclaimed from other bikes... I was the coolest.
For some reason though it would get flats on the back constantly, if there was a nail it would assuredly end up poking a hole in my back tire. My theory was that the front wheel would lift up any debris perfectly for my back tire to hit it and get punctured. I wish I knew of liners back then. Cost me so much in patches and tubes.

why don't people understand that when they're so many variables and moving parts internally involved, you can never have a good apples to apples comparison,

guess idiots always have to feel the need to push the envelope unnecessarily..

I've drank plenty of different fuels that cost between $4-5/gal over the last 15 years. If I could discern a difference in taste or smell drinking a higher octane fuel, I certainly wouldn't mind paying for it.

I'm pretty sure 91 octane is therefore nothing but rebranded 87 octane.

Definitely needs pondering. From my 15 years of experience melting steel beams and using fuel in my cars, I'd say yes.

But can you discern a difference with melting steel beams with 91? It would burn slower right because higher octane..? in which case, why would you run 91 in your car?!

So here's a ramblings thing:

I have this lead on my team here that smokes light a fricking chimney. Smokes easily 3 packs a week (well mon-thurs when i see him)

Last week he was coughing up a storm and self diagnosed himself as having bronchitis..

how the fuck can you think you have bronchitis but still continue to smoke?!?

His other habits aren't all that great either: He drinks at least 2 dr peppers a day (one for breakfast, one for lunch) I don't follow him to dinner but when we did have dinner once, he had a total of 5 double stoli-sodas...

sigh.. this dude is going to die on this project and I'm going to have to take over..

I hope you forgot the red text on purpose :

Understanding Chronic Bronchitis - American Lung Association

Cigarette smoking is by far the most common cause of chronic bronchitis. The airways of people with chronic bronchitis may also have been irritated initially by bacterial or viral infections.
