Yeah man, good memory.
I wanted to have this surprise trip to vegas for her 30th, but she kept throwing hints out over the last couple months that she didn't want to go there and that she preferred to have a party here in town with friends/family.
I rented out part of a nice restaurant here in town on Saturday and had about 35 people come out. Nothing crazy, but it was a good time and she got to see a lot of people she doesn't normally see these days

yeah travel itineraries come second nature to me now since I'm basically on a perpetual one 
sounds like a good time was had nonetheless! Probably cost a whole lot less too. Travel budget money was reallocated to alcohol money

Well, by the start of May, I had enough Airmiles for us to have been able to fly down to Vegas for free. We just would have had to pay for a hotel and if we wanted, a car rental.
But I guess once there, yeah, you want to spend money. We don't gamble, but I'm sure restaurants aren't cheap, neither is any of the entertainment.
I guess you are right... I don't think the vegas trip would've been crazy expensive, but yeah, a few hours at a restaurant is still cheaper

just watched an expedition on some unauthentic wheels spin out and flip all over I95. I was one of the first 3 on the scene...used my work truck to block traffic behind us, put out cones, checked if they called 911, went and helped checked the guy's vitals...picked up some of his debris off the highway. I split when troopers got there and told me to GTFO the way for the ambulance, since I didn't witness what actually happened.
The guy was lucky, he was in shock, bloody arm, but overall he was okay and I don't think he was even wearing a seatbelt. I was grateful that it wasn't a truck full of kids and nobody died.
A little rattled but a reality check to stay focused on the road and pay attention.
Hear that Chad, you got a long ride ahead of you AND a pretty tight timeline.
