Also culo there is a fine line between cheap and bargain-y. One that I walk with the finesse of Sasquatch at times.

Home or hotel?

I always feel odd when I get sick on travel and just crash out in the hotel all day. Like an expensive callgirl that wakes up and Richard "Gerbil-Butt" Gere has snuck out to go to business but she's still there and feeling pukey from all the nasty things she did.

Or something

LMAO...
Poor Gerbil.

I agree, although when we go to a new city on vacation, I LOVE hanging in the room! Watch movies, frollick, catch a buzz...

Hotel..

I really contemplated not even traveling Sunday night but last year in December I already pulled the "feel super crappy so canceled trip last minute" card. Didn't want to do it again and wanted to think I'm actually trying so begrudgingly jumped on my red eye Sunday night...let me tell you... Never go on a plane with a fever and sinus infection, not worth it..Monday morning went into office and didn't last a day.

Went back to hotel and slept since.

Also got an important meeting tomorrow so at least I gotta recover by then...

I remember when my dad asked the PC builder for a 250MB hard drive back in 1992, and the builder laughed his ass off at him, saying we would NEVER fill it up...

My dad bought that computer with the intention of using it for the next 15 years. It was like $4500, back then. It was completely obsolete by 1995

I think we got our first scanner in 1998/1999. They were out prior to that, but man, they were brutal quality. Even the one we bought in 98/99 was anything but fantastic.

and I'll be the first to admit that my dad took the home PC on more than one occasion to a shop, due to extensive viruses and god knows what else. The computer would be at a point where formatting the hard drive and reinstalling Windows wasn't sufficient. I swear it had nothing to do with the folder called "napster" and the subfolder called "other downloads"

I always wondered what the guy at the computer store was thinking when he went to clean up our computer. My dad knew what was up, but he didn't really seem to care.
