Car off as in ignition switch off or engine off?

If you mean ignition off, i.e. no electrical supplied to the system... No idea.

If you just mean engine off (not running), then because you're not trying to actually sync the gears together. With the engine running and things spinning, there will be resistance to move into gear if the clutch isn't fully disengaging.

From what you've said, the pump-pump-pump to regain function sounds entirely hydraulic. Specifically a failed seal at some point where the liquid is slipping past when you try to build slow constant pressure. But you probably knew that.

I don't remember how to troubleshoot which end of the system the problem is at though.

No Kevin...not really. That would be foolhardy.

Chad, I'm not sure...my first one failed at 34K...no warning, and before the slave mod. 2nd one, I've had in there since then...so 80K miles with the slave mod and it's going strong. maybe a bad batch of o-rings?

Justin, be my chubby bunny!

Shit. This probably means I've been hanging around you degenerates too long. Starting to think the same. Hell, me and BuffetBoy can practically post interchangeably.

I bet all our periods are in sync now too.

Need some assistance from some Audio guys. I actually think J is the only one running audio.

So I've heard rear speakers are just for a fill so either A) You don't need to change them or B) You don't need to spend a bunch of money on them. So there probably is no point of running a amp to the rear speakers right?

I really don't want to run 2 amps. IE: 4 channel and/or 2 channel. My idea was to just run a 4 channel to power the 2 speakers up front and the sub.

^you answered your own question.

the rears are fluff! so you wont need to amp them

Do you regularly sit in the front or back? (smartass question here )

$45 for a pair of 6.5 speakers.

J, what did you run in black beauty? Wait, I can probably go back and look at your for sale thread.

Fronts had massive audio...they were like 200 bucks. rears were image dynamics...about same price but IHC gave them to me. I swapped those ID to infinity since the two sets of components was overkill.

Gramophone sits on the passenger side floor. Takes up a lot of room. Records sit on passenger seat. I built a custom rack for the seat to hold them all.

I had Clearwater Audio speakers in the miata. They were fucking amazing sounding. No idea on price or how they compare to others. But they were awesome. People always asked if I had an oem sub in the car. Nope, just quality door speakers!
