Ok so I know yall like to keep it salad-tossey in here but seeing as its dry as hell and nobody's butthole is getting teased right now, is this a good deal? And do the 19's impede when I lower it
It's WDP, under 100k only 2 hours away from me and it's at a dealer. I've contacted them to see what's up. I want to see the CarFax and see if there are maintenance records.
Originated from GA...then went to FL then IL..... SO Justn didn't drive it, but J may have.... But what scurrrrs me is that it was in IL......which has snow.....which can have rust and salt undercarriage.....but looks like it went from Floriduh to IL and then went straight to Nevada and was auctioned off and never driven.

I've found one at CarMax... I kind of trust them because A) 5 day buy back. B) They check the hell out of cars before putting them on the lot. C) I can have them send it to my closest dealer.
So I can find a car in Texas..... as long as Justn didn't drive it.
May take a trip to Reno this Sunday if they get back to me and work with me on that TL-S. I asked for more pictures, interior and exterior... The car looks like it could use a bath.
I'm debating on just taking the Corolla for a trade, I don't know if I want to deal with taking pictures, posting it, people lowballing, meeting with people, possibly getting killed...

WDP always has that issue. My car's rear bumper looks off too from factory. It has something to do with the paint on plastic versus on metal I believe and is a very well documented occurance
Makes me wonder... Dealerships rarely discount their cars unless they've been sitting for an eternity. I'm surprised they'd drop it from 16k, to 14k, and still no takers. What's even more surprising is that they discounted it 2k and are selling it 1.5k below blue book value. How many dealerships do you know that sell below blue book?
Honestly, photos are always waaaaay too deceiving. You gotta see the car in person to know what it's all about. I'd look for the VIN tags for the rear bumper and trunk lid. Pull back the carpeting in the trunk to get a closer look. See what you can find. Maybe it's just me, but it looks like there's a bit of that cream color in the white, on the trunk lid, just like the rear bumper.
Doesn't necessarily make it a deal breaker though. Flip, are you looking for a mint car? If this thing was rear ended, is it a deal breaker for you? I'm thinking that if someone paid out of pocket for the repair, it couldn't have been that bad. It would likely just be cosmetic damage.
Also, with respect to the color difference between the bumpers and metal body... the front bumper seems to match perfectly, while the back is way out to lunch. I'd expect the front to be a shade different also, if both front and rear bumpers were original paint. Something doesn't add up.
Fuck, I just found a white TL-S 6MT in my city for sale. Guy is asking 12k firm. He said he posted it before and he gets a thousand messages about the car but not one has come to check it out. I also have my ATLP exhaust on the TL- not sure if I could just swap exhausts from one car to the other. It'd be nice if I could.
I'm wondering if I should trade up. It has 85k miles on it (136k km). My issue is that I've put thousands into my TL to bring it up to snuff with all maintenance. Plus, I have the A-Spec kit, where this TL does not.
I do know my clutch is on borrowed time, from the first owner. It's been fine for me for normal driving, but when I'm mashing the go pedal, I can feel it slip a bit. I also know I have a couple oil leaks from the timing belt side of he engine. I'd have to disassemble everything to get at them. Not sure which seals are leaking, but although it wouldn't cost me much to fix them, it's a lot of work/time/effort to get it done. The beauty is that I could do the repair in May and use the Miata to get around while the TL is dismantled.
Dunno what to do. And cul0, shut your mouth about being a youngmoola. I don't want to hear about it. I'd essentially lose my slightly modded TL with pretty much all servicing up to date, besides what I mentioned, for a bone stock type S which likely needs some work. Worth it?
