What's up, guys? It's snowing in Michigan right now and it's freezing cold. Bleh, this is always the worst time of the year. I haven't seen the sun in weeks.

Tax season is also approaching (i.e. I will have no life for the next 3 months), my 3 year-old currently has the flu, my 15 month-old has some random eye infection, and my nieces and nephews visited this past weekend and put a hole in our drywall. To top it off, I checked on my TL (in storage) and noticed my first crack in the dashboard this past Saturday ....

My birthday is this weekend. Let's hope things will calm down before then lol.

That is such a valid question. However, I think this is a situation where I need to bite my tongue and just let it be or fix it myself. It's not worth tarnishing a relationship over. Our house is just over one year old, so any damage does pain my soul though. It was also my wife's sister's children, so that makes it more complicated. If it were my own siblings, I think I'd probably say something.

 

Accountability is an important thing to teach, especially early on in life.. (whether the lesson be to the parents or children is up to you)
