Yeah I can see the problem with that and the reduction in visibility at night. I'm wrapped in 18% and it seems fine at night, but the windshield is probably a completely different story. I might look into the Llumar Air Blue tint. My car sits in the sun all day with black interior so that's probably my best bet for heat reduction

I know someone that had a 94 toyota truck with 5% on all 3 windows and I forget what tint on the front window. It was 75% or something light. You could not see in the truck at all during the day.
You also could barely see out of the windshield at night.

You're doing a good job at steering me away from tinting the front lol, I think I'll focus more on clearing my headlights now and come back to the windshield later

I put 5% on the back windows of my work and personal truck. The front sides are 20%.
I have 10% all the way around on the TL.
I am putting 20% on my suburban. The front sides will be 20% but 20% over the factory tint should be equivalent to 5% on the backs.
I like privacy. I also like the fact that my A/C won't have to work so hard in the summer as we see 110 degree days regularly here in the summer.

5% without anything on the windshield seems dangerous enough as it is, that must have been a nightmare to drive
