Chop sticks suck
No idea why anyone would rather use them over a fork.

but again depends on the whole north vs south too...since south has more rice and thinner consistency lentils, spoon/folk is common there...
up north with the tandoori roti and chicken tikka masala, eating with hands will yield better taste
it was funny to see my white friends eat at the wedding and the house warming/reception...they gave up on Indian food and filled up with the Thai cuisine LOL

so effin true....I loved that when I went to India recently....whether you are sitting at a roadside cart OR at a 5 star hotel, you still eat Indian food with hands
PS: the roadside chow mein and lo-mein are offff the hook back home...better than any gourmet place I have been to....

I have always felt the roadside food is better though...
I loved eating chicken and rice on the street side cart back in NY....frequented the Halal guys a lotttt....those guys are soo damn popular in the city....
if you are ever there, hit them up....the cart used to be @ 53rd and 6th....great great food...I heard they opened up their first store in NYC....not sure if they are still operating the cart....I hope they are

Of course, if you go to a western-cuisine (i.e. hoity-toity French) restaurant, expectations are again that you use a fork and knife. Probably expect you to have your pinky finger raised too.

Costco rotisserie chicken: BEST eaten with your hands.
And especially true if you're capable of eating the entire bird on your own.

dude am a firm believer of clientele....
you dont go to a business meeting in shorts and you dont go to an upscale restaurant and act or eat like a dingus....
there is a different between going to taco bell and a gourmet restaurant (though many believe taco bell is gourmet )
but with that said, I append to it, by* saying, food should be enjoyed the way it was meant to be....you cant enjoy pizza/indian food/taco's/etc with spoon and fork you need to use your hands....and you cant eat soup with your fingers, gotta use a soup spoon....

I need to try that....we hit Sams club and their rotisserie chicken is meh...Price Chopper (not sure if they have it up there), has good rotisserie chicken though...

Costco's rotisserie chicken is IMO, the best. And so cheap too. Sometimes, if we're too busy to cook, stop at Costco on the way home...pick up a bird or two and a salad to go...done. $25 tops for two people. Probably less in USD.

But, I'll say this: this "free" healthcare came through when Little Cha needed his procedures. I believed in EVERY freaking cent the Canadian government squeezed from me.

just for giggles, I asked the hospital to send me a bill to "file"....the bill was almost 25,000 !!! I was like WTF !!! and this was for a normal delivery...3 days/2 nights at the hospital...
I was impressed with her insurance coverage....

I'm proficient with them.
1st of all, don't question an entire race/ethnicity/culture for their use of a utensil just because you can't figure it out.
2nd, don't bother with the rubber band drawn cheaters...with those, you'll never learn how to use them. Sushi on a fork feels like pedophilia...do it right, wait until 18 and use single chop sticks.
