brother I used to workout regularly for almost a year and was in the best shape of my life....
then the wedding happened....my parents were here for 2 months and her parents were here for 4 months....with all the good food, there goes the shape....
then with the wifey being pregnant and now with the kid, honestly I barely get any time....
I have been working out on and off for couple months....but texting the sloth kinda motivated me (I know, no one said that EVER !!!)....and I hope it stays...
just to shock my body, I have been doing the no-rest OR Active-rest sessions....
I hit med to heavy weight and just do some skipping or jogging in place or anything to keep the heart rate elevated between sets....

Every other time scenario, you have distractions...but, lunch-hour is a full 60-70 minutes where you know you can get away to exercise. Sure, working lunches can happen occasionally but I would think those are not the norm.

So, even if I'm at the site office until 6PM or 7PM, before dinner, I must at least get in 45 minutes. The gyms at hotels are usually sparse but with functional training, you can get alot out of them too.

Maj thats hilarious....
Yeah, I travel for work as well...those, well, you have no choice but to work out in the evenings. However, on the road, the hours are usually brutal...but, I make it a point to workout or die trying.

I absolutely one billion percent agree with the YUM.
Workout at lunch is the way to go. It's also the only FORCED down time throughout the day so I would much rather do it then than after or before work when I could use my time for something else. It also gets the blood flowing after 4 or 5 hours of sitting on my azz. I love it.

The lunch time workout is nice but I hate feeling rushed. Plus my gym is pretty crowded around lunch time so I usually end up going in the evening> To each their own of course
Any MBP owners? I'm toying with replacing my 2008 HP laptop and I figure I might as well make the jump to Mac now.

I've been hearing good things too so I figured it's worth looking into. Plus it might be time for a change from PC.
Fair enough. But, keep in mind, that's the point of lunch-hour. You don't need more than 60 minutes esp. if it is to be an efficient and very effective workout. So, the pressures of finishing up in 60 will get you to work out without unnecessary stops/breaks.
I would recommend it.

MBP is the way to go. I LOVE mine. Wish it was a little quicker though, but I can probably just upgrade the processor. (Already did RAM).
My only real gripe is the 13" screen. It's a little small now, but the price hike to the 15" was absurd. Next Mac will probably be an iMac.
Still kicking from July 2011 and I haven't had a single problem with it, no viruses, no crashes, ect.
And backing up is seamless, plug the external in and it backs up on it's own.

1.4ghz processor and a full 512MB ram LOL....loved it...in 2009 I upgraded the ram by adding another gig and ran like a champ !!! no issues at all....
for the past 2 years, I connected it to my TV and was using it just for movies on the HDD/online and recently, it started getting very laggy....but just cant beat 9 years of solid performance !!!
also the auto backup is a feature of HDD's and not mbp (just saying)....
miss my Toshiba
