Only good thing about wasting your money on an Audi, you'll be perpetually fixing it

Hey, just speaking from my own personal experience. Everyone I know, with the exception of a lemon X5, has had nothing but good luck with a variety of euro cars... :/

So like, my mom's uncle's dad's wife's cousin's sister's brother's nephew's aunt's grandfather's son bought a Pagani Zonda R.

My Acura has had plenty of problems...BUT:
Parts are pretty cheap and I know how to work on them.
German scares me because of all those torx bolts instead of regular bolts. And who does wheel bolts instead of lugs and lugnuts?

Justin I bet you're going to love the feel of those 75 durometer mounts. Should help put power to the ground much better than stock.

Just finished the install and took her for a spin.
I can feel the clutch better, the engagement point i mean.
which means, better shifting.

slight vibration in the steering wheel. kinda like an arcade game. force feed back.
Crusin' USA!

didnt really bother me in the short initial test drive

down shifts are better, because i can feel the engagement point and Im much quicker.

my factory mounts were worn, so i attribute some of my feelings to having a better and working mounts.

Cant wait to fix my jpipe.

I would love to daily drive a new comfy car and just keep my TL for weekend duty.
OR, I can get a less reliable MORE fun car to use on the weekends!

J: After the S5 for a week? Not even close.

That's a true trackers car IMHO. Not a lot of power. Not a lot of tech. Not a lot of space. Just one amazing platform.

Dude...ABSOLUTELY.

I won't say I've driven many many cars in my lifetime...but, hands down, the NSX that I considered buying back in 2003 was THE most fun I've ever had in a car. (This beats the time I took a WRX STi down a gravel road with the salesguy egging me on.)

But, the exhilaration was on another scale with the NSX. You are talking about a mid-engine EXOTIC built with aluminum...so, very light. And when you give the car a go in the lower gears, that revving in the glorious engine DIRECTLY behind you cannot be described. This is the closest experience I've had to driving a Ferrari.

The only thing stopping me from buying the car the time (I was in the CL-S still) was practicality. The climate here is brutal and with the very long winters, did not make sense for me to buy it at the time. But, man...I dream about it constantly. What a car.

Sorry for the long write-up.

Sure, M3s, S5s, and etc. etc. are all newer...but, you do NOT beat an affordable exotic/LEGENDARY car made from Honda with the expressed purposes of pissing off Enzo Ferrari and his crew...and actually successfully beating the Italians at the time.

You just don't.

The NSX does not get enough credit and worship IMO. It is THIS car that makes me look at Honda/Acura with such sadness these days...what could've been. Sigh.
