Wow, happy bday GRANDMA!
Maj, you never leave your computer, you wouldn't have been there!
I had not met anyone other than John Ebelp before...odd that it seemed like we were long time friends immediately!
Had a great time too.
Justin, thanks...I guess I wanted to read the full debate where you and IHC talked about it. I'm guessing you don't remember the thread?

no, i dont remember the thread, but i can search for it later.
a spacer is used to cool down the incoming air that enters the intake manifold.
but what happens if the air is already cooled?
that means the spacer isnt doing jack, except for making a tight fit for the CAI.
and plus, any air tuning is done in the intake manifold and not before it.

^^^ I remember the discussion since I was part of it LOL...
The spacer with gaskets do 2 things:
1> add volume to the plenum
2> keep the IAT an inch away from the heat
some say they have seen gains, some say the have seen loses, some are neutral....
I was running the spacer by MPP...it was an inch thick (as compared to .75" from P2R) and the bore was 72mm as compared to 64 or 66 (not sure, was a while back) from P2R....
MPP worked perfectly for me since my TB and manifold were bored to 72mm.....
If I had the base setup, I would get the spacer....if I had the Type S setup I dont think I would worry about it....same with the 3.7 setup....
I have the 3.7 setup and I didnt get the TBS....for your base setup, since you have the TBS installed, I would keep it in there

You think shes cranky when you see her, imagine that X 1000

Heck, I've been called a TROLL, hypocrite, and a disliked person just because I said a post was a repost.

Anyhow, back to your regularly scheduled AZ programming. Mod disputes are just stupid AZ drama that no one needs to see.

anyone ever watch that motorcycle race on the "aisle of man"?
justin, thank you, anil...also.
I guess at this point it's all conjecture. Honestly, it destroyed my oem intake tube. I don't want to worry about the one John gave me. I saw a 2 second drop in my quarter mile times since I removed it. I'll prove it Friday.
