Exhaust is on my list. I'm done with this Stage 3 mod.
Burning Brakes
Oh wow true, thanks!
And I know, I meant I'm just going to focus on changing the sound and not worry about power. $160 for a more aggressive sound is good enough for me

I had tips put on and the mm removed. So stage 1. All I have done exhaust wise is the rv6 v3 jpipe. I personally think my exhaust sounds fantastic right now.
The problem is I know as soon as I put PCD or HFPCs on I probably won't like it. Not to mention all the "stock + cash" deals I miss out on for a cat back.
My advice. Save up for the real deal and keep your stock cat back stock.

Bought my RV6 V3 Jpipe used for $250 shipped
Bought RV6 V3 PCDs for $270 picked up from Andy
Bought RV6 True Dual for the equivalent of a 1997 Honda Accord beater aka $1720
Total for me was $2240 because I dished out for the True Dual.
Cool, what are you looking at getting?

I bought 80 k-cups for $27 off Amazon with free shipping the other day. Comes to something like $0.33/cup of coffee.

^^^ +1 on rasp....rasp is something which is hard to eliminate unless you just want to add resonators and call it a day....after a lot of reading and thinking I was able to almost eliminate rasp with PCD's....
also +1 on Keurig....I have heard great things about them but didnt like the "Chai Tea" they have so that kinda turned me off LOL....when I worked for Monsanto in STL, they had Flavia and was that an awesome coffee machine

Yeah we had a Flavia at this place I use to consult with for awhile and it was nice. Accessibility of their packets is a little limited so they are a little more expensive. Some of their machines dispose of the packets into a chamber and hook directly to your osmosis water line so you don't have to do anything at all but put a "k-cup" in and hit a button.

the Flavia's made great coffee and also great cappuccinos and lattes....and yes their refills are a little more $$$....
I might start with a cheap coffee machine to see how much I use it and then decide on an expensive one....
Matt and "babe" talked us into buying an expensive toaster and we barely use that thing

Yeah I can't see any reason to get anything beyond a basic four slice toaster lol. A coffee machine I'm willing to indulge a bit more on.

I do. RV6 V3. Tyler informed me that it may have rasp if I go non-resonated. :/

Rasp sucks for sure. Watched a video yesterday of some guy who straight piped his mufflers.. sounded terrible

Austin, it does make sense....but me being me, I would wrap and spray the RV6 jpipe with some DEI wrap and high temp silicone....get the non resonated one and see how I like it....
if its drones too much or has rasp...add a resonator to it...if you get the resonated version and its toooo quiet, might not make it worth your dollar...just suggesting
Story, the exhaust, imo, is a trial and error deal....specially when you are going custom....anytime you change something, the tone is going to change....say you have the perfect exhaust note and you put in Type S cams in your base, the exhaust note will change....

Nespresso was around in Switzerland since I was a kid. They're good.
I can make a pretty mean cuban coffee though...
and my daily choice is nescafe instant with delicious creamer and a spoon of organic sugar.

even now at times, I will put a cup of milk too boil and add some nescafe and some sugar...

I know the PCDs equal rasp. That's why I've waited for HFPCs. However, with the intent to eventually throw a sc on there I'd rather have the PCDs...
Used prices are good. And if you can wait, wait for them. It's metal exhaust parts. Used is OK. You don't even see them!
And I actually prefer Sweet-n-Low in my coffee.

You guys are too much.
I hate to think of making a money spent list for my car. I would be ashamed that I didn't have that cash invested in something.

The key to good coffee is grinding the beans right before you brew.
Also, stay away from anything Starbucks.

I bought my exhaust for the sound, then the look, then the performance.
I also got a deal that made me feel better about spending the money to begin with.
