Trust me, in my line of work, a BMW 335 is as good as a Honda Civic compared to the cars I get to drive. I work for Lamborghini and McLaren Newport Beach so even a very heavily modified 500+HP 335 wouldn't do even amuse me. BMW have their issues… and they're not exactly inexpensive fixes either.

My 335 is about to hit 100K miles so I'm bouncing out before some serious upkeep/repairs will knock me down. You Acura guys have it easy, seriously. And I want that easy life.

If a 500+ hp 335i isn't shit. Then you are going to be very disappointed with a 286 hp monster of a TL.

Lucky guy.. I'd be driving an e60 M5 if it weren't for the that shit vanos oil pump and the price to replace the engine. Sure the SMG has it's own issues but $6k doesn't seem so bad when you consider a crate or rebuilt v10 is $20-26k.

The TL is a great car.. you're not giving up handling if you trade up and has just enough power to overtake the Prius hogging the passing lane. The engine is bulletproof but not the trans.
