Hey dude.
Not too much...the wife invited her girl-cousins over to hang out. So, I'll probably just turn off my brain and play some video games. Got a friend's kid's b-day tomorrow to go to and my boss gave me Monday off so probably use that day to run errands.
You?

I don't think I'm narrow minded, but all day is a long time!
Hey Yum...happy Saturday night!
Justin, how did last night go? Or did it turn into omelet for her for breakfast and then applebees for lunch, evening movie and make out point now? I sure hope so. Love is splendid.

She'll start by kickin out a her shoes,
lose an earring in her drink,

She don't mean nothin , she's just havin fun,

her friends will joke about the stuff she lost,
yeah tequila makes her clothes fall off.

Morning fellas. My buddy and I traded cars for a day so I've been practicing manual on his 5 speed Jetta. Only stalled once so far and that was on a major hill in a parking lot where I was practicing. So far so good though. What kinds of things can I do on my test drive of my 6MT to test out the quality of the clutch before I buy?

Congrats JJH, awesome awesome awesome. I'm sure the clutch will be fine. I will say that with the slave cylinder checkvalve in, I did find the TL to be the hardest manual car to drive smoothly in my 15 years of driving stick Hondas. BUT, maybe it'll be easier for someone that isn't expecting differently.
That's JUST for smooth, for driving, it's easy...you can almost literally put into first and release the clutch very slowly without even giving it gas and it won't stall.

Deleting that valve and replacing the fluid with GM Syncromesh are going to be the first couple things that I do with this car.

Took the dog out to the park yesterday. We were half way around the lake when I decided to sprint with her. I probably got about 30 yards down the path before something like "snapped" in my hamstrings...on both legs. I fell immediately to the ground.
Made it to the car but damn it hurts like a mother. I can barely get up from my chair here at work. And sitting on it hurts like a bitch. Walking like a grandpa...

Justin you said that your clutch felt like it got stiff after the slave cylinder delete mod when it was going bad??
I did the slave cylinder delete mod but on aggressive driving / shifting my pedal still gets stiff and has a hard time engaging.
Is that the symptoms you were have that warranted to change your clutch??

the pedal would get stiff and would not come back to original pedal height.
i would have to pump it to get it back it normal.
and this only occurred on high RPM runs.
eventually, I kept abusing it and it would slip in 5th and 6th

Did you just go with an oem clutch???
I am going to start researching non self-adjusting options.
Mine has been acting up since right after I bought it. The one trip to the track didn't help either.
Lots of rpm's in every gear. Absolutely no power transferred to the ground.
Pretty sure it was bad when I bought it, but my unique driving style didn't help anything either.
