Still, I would love to huck a few weights at the nimrods on this project. Guess what? In today's data call, the interface lead shat his pants because all of his scripts are ruined. All 42 programs being built in the ERP have been revised and in many cases, re-designed.

The PMO letting this sort of insanity continue is beyond me.

In my last job, I had built up enough reputation/goodwill that any of my projects were run solely by me as acting PM as well. Here, not so much. Hence why I know I'll be jumping ship in a year or two...just as this failboat product goes live.

The sad thing is.. companies hire these PM's with little to no real experience, they've never had their boots in the mud, so how can dictate the direction of the ship? It would be more beneficial if the company paid to have their group experts and leaders obtain their PMP and let them keep the reigns.
