3 days of 90+ degree weather is a heat wave. Forecasts didn't mention anything going any higher than 92 or so for this one. Last summer we have a few 100+ degree days.

Houston is more along the coast; which brings humidity.
In Austin, its not so bad.
Houston has like 100 degree weather with like 80%humidity.
take a shower and hang your towel; you're instantly sweaty and your towel doesnt dry in time for your next shower......

Yeah humidity sucks, it's not too bad in sa or atx like Justin mentioned. I like how it makes my AC seem colder when it's not.

Austin (the state and not WD) gets ridiculously HOT !!!
I was there around August (settling a little case) and damn it was 100+ even after midnight !!! SUCKED !!!

well i didnt take the AC out....on our first trip, I just took the fuse out and the idiot me, left it at home LOL....
it was insane....the humidity and the heat was crazy !!! I started from KS fully dressed and I got out in Austin wearing boxers hahah...
the next time, I did have my fuse plugged in....but it wasnt too bad, we had to turn the AC on only after we passed Dallas....
