but i do agree with CCNA is a waste....a friend of mine had perfect scores in CCNA and MSCE and was without a job for a whileeeee....
I would suggest the best way to get into a permanent IT job would be to join a consulting firm, work your ass off for 3-4 years, get hired by the client for close to what you were making in consulting (which is always more), kick back and enjoy
I used to be very aggressive with my work and always gave my 110%+ but recently (I kinda blame my new manager) I have been just doing what am supposed to do and not any more....in my annual review my manager wrote "Awesome worker. Works very hard. Managed pieces of the project well. Took weight off my shoulders. Met expectations"
I was like you shitting me !!! so I worked well, and I did your work and I only met expectations? so since the past year I have been only doing my job....in a few weeks I will be going under a different manager and I hope, I will be rewarded for being aggressive at work and getting shit done !!!
