ok, so I'm apparently not going crazy.
yumcha, I was just searching for PM resume templates online... couldn't believe the shit I was seeing. The only reason I'm not using my existing template (used an old resume from 2005 that I kept updating over the years) is because I originally got it from my brother... and I'm looking to apply for a position where he is the boss
we've worked together previously at a consulting firm... we are able to work together quite well and keep our personal issues/lives separate from the work at hand.
Also, I'm sure you know since you're not an idiotic tinfoil Republicanesson-lover...but, make sure your qualifications are qualifiable and quantifiable. Don't put down an idiotic quality like, "brilliant innovator". How the f*ck are you brilliant? How do you measure that?!? So, be measurable and specific. Don't write what David Dennison and his ilk would right on their CV. Unless you are hoping to join an idiot company run by idiots.

Same ol same ol' I guess. Summer goes by too fast, too many things to do, too much procrastination power to do them.
Car shit:
Slowly fiddling around/ricing the MS3, haven't really done anything big, just small shit like LED bumper reflectors, hood struts, new HID bulbs, new high beams, new fogs (still trying to color match these, if anybody knows 5500k 9600, hola I guess), tinted windows, speakers all around, LED interior lights, resonator delete, little usability tweaks like cargo netting so shit doesn't slam everywhere when racecar w/ groceries in the back, etc etc. Turns out with a bunch of small things like that I spent more money on mods than gas so far, that's how little my commute is.
I need to start doing some more serious stuff, now that I'm well used to the car I can definitely feel the few shortcomings like the soft motor/transmission mounts, notchiness + sloppiness of the shifter, torque steer, and 215 tires on this car is absolutely retarded even though that's what Mazda recommends. You can squeal the tires in 1-2-3 when bone stock everything like I am, with DSC/TCS on... ironically torque steer gets drastically reduced when you turn it off.
All in all it's a fun car, I get why people like it. The uneven length header gives it a very boxerish sound, bolstered seats keep you planted, it's not super light but it doesn't feel heavy, the boost is early and it's not hard to keep in the fun range, you can bang the transmission pretty hard and it just takes it, shifting N>1 and 1>2 you gotta lift but the rest it's flatfoot which is still near impossible to do the way my brain is wired... Sits 4 comfy, ok trunk space, decent interior usability. Really sad downside, should have been AWD like the MS6 and it would have absolutely cannibalized WRX sales at the time. Instead you got a car that's somewhat little known. Plus first gen MS3 look like run of the mill Mazda 3 hatch to the untrained eye, which is either win or lose depending on how you see it.
Girlfriend still hates riding with me in this car, that'll teach her for calling the TL a gramp car though, guess she misses it now.

Got interview for shift supervisor on Thursday morning with the hospital network security big boss (client) & the contract manager (employer). Echo is they told the guy who does the schedule that they were really impressed with my interview and for vacation period (1 month) of one of my current shift supervisor I'll be the one in charge as a trial. A meagre $1.25/hr tacked on top but hey I'll take it. I should get news upcoming week anyway.
Not super surprised it went well, met the network big boss around two months ago for a special training with a group of like 12 or so. He's a 20+ yrs experience retired cop, got good vibes from him right away and realized instantly than it was less about the training than it was about scoping out fresh new faces. Not everyone in that training realize that, some people started trying to wash their dirty laundry and it was totally not the time to do that. My bet is they're gonna get canned, 6 people have been removed from the contract already.
How about you? I'm thinking of growing some hot peppers this year, start them outside but then bring them inside. Any tips?

My bhut jolukias that I sent you almost reached end of life last year. I left them out over the cold snap we get every year since they were getting milder each season. Figured I'd just let the plant die off. It 90% died but a little sprig came back this spring and is trying to grow. Not sure it'll flower this year but I might need to play around with some soil mods to get some heat back since it wants to live.
No real secret tips or anything. If you're starting from seed, I go from inside to outside and back inside for the winter. Starting from plants is just bringing them in when it gets cold. Little fuckers are pretty hearty and seem to keep coming back. Biggest factor in heat seems to be soil and that's still a black magic to me. There are pH/acidity kits you can buy to test the soil and then add fertilizer to optimize, but I don't got time for that shit. I grow it and if it's hot it's hot. If it's not too hot, it's not too hot.
