What is the best way to get access to streaming apps, primarily Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Vidya.
My folks have an older "smart" TV and a "smart" bluray player that are both dumber than a box of shit. I fucked around for hours trying to get them set up and connected to the internets and both things just crapped all over themselves like MM seeing a 7G Accord.
I was initially thinking X-Box or PS4, but that's probably way overkill.
Would the Amazon Fire Stick thing fit the bill?
Thanks in advance,
Gofuckyurself

Then every time you see a 40 incher in the trash for a $3 cooked capacitor you can fix it yourself and make it a smaht tv and throw it on the wall
in your shitter. Or hand me down bullshit tiny led tv's a family member is tossing on thanksgiving can magically make it onto your kitchen counter.
2 of our 4 tv's don't even have a cable box attached...they are just for netflix and hulu and chill.

But you have to sacrifice for the things you want
I'm not saying you can't do well in life on your own grind
But I have friends who are super sharp, personable, and motivated
They've been on a hard grind to success, and they're still struggling
They focused on making money out of HS
They should have paid attention to how to make it
Those that are a success without education are a product of nepotism or dumb luck
Education is your foot in the door
You might fuck it up once you get there
But at least you get invited to talk
Make your own luck
Get your GED
Get into a trade or line of work that will sustain you

How am I supposed to do the detailing? It's the only trade I want. Honestly, I'm not in good health.
I envision my future a certain way and have a death grip on it. I'm losing my mind over my health.
They say I'm ok. CT shows nothing. Nose won't stop bleeding. Ears won't stop ringing. I need a ton of dental work.
I move in 6 month increments.
The next 6 months will be focused on my health and making money. School is beyond the back burner. I have only a few thousand dollars I need to use to get an apartment and pay for my dental reconstruction.
if I took on GED/college right not on top of everything else I'd fall short. It would be very ugly. I know my limitations.
Clearly you did some research to post that. I appreciate it. I appreciate that someone is thinking about me when I didn't ask.
Right now, my health has me focused on death. It's crazy, but I'm scared and feel so mortal. I literally can't stop thinking about dying. Maybe not tomorrow, but one day.
Like I just want to go back to when I had a future to look forward to. I will recreate that environment as best I can and try to ignite old sparks. Pick up wbere I left of when I was 16, and be headed where I should've been by now.
I'm just ready to have my boss transfer me back to Louisiana so I can maybe clear my head and be closer to the world that molded me into who I once was, and who I know I really am.

I'm sorry. I worded that wrong.
Majofo, I'm miserable. Next month will make 5 years since I gave up on myself. I don't want to loose time now. I'm just ready to have my life back. Like it used to be. Being alone in Mississippi this past year has helped me to realize that. I did walk away from this with one good thing. I have a job a company that respects me. My job is the only thing going back to LA with me.
I knew living here was temporary. I didn't open up because I didn't want to become attached like I did in Brookhaven.
Look at it this way. In a year ir two, I'll be renewed. I'll find some old friends and get my mojo back. I'll be 17 again. I can and will have the power to rewrite how my early 20's went down.
If all else fails. I'll get a GED and work at the airport. That's what i thought I'd do when I was in 7th grade back in 2011.
As you can tell. It breaks my heart to look at a calendar. Seeing the year is 2019 makes me so depressed.

I asked the Lord to motivate me to leave Mississippi. I asked him to give me the sign. I think my "illness" or whatever it is is that sign. If I'm returned to my former glory after the dental work I'll literally jump for joy. Maybe my outlook will change. Hell. I almost just want a therapist because feeling this way at 22 isn't normal or healthy.
I should be acting like a kid or atleast feeling that way.
Not gonna lie, I'm a tad jealous if those who are bursting with energy and can just talk to anyone.
I feel like I'm 80 years old.
Why the heck did I ever live with a dementia patient. Damn I feel like I caught it sometimes. LOL.
My point is I'm motivated again.
Go away sadness, go away.
Maybe I'm just lonely. IDK???

tl;dr
stop fucking whining and go back to school or pick a trade.
a plumber, electrician, ac/heat tech...something that you can work toward being your own boss
and owning the company one day. ur already sucking dick, you might as well make it toward a
better life.
you're sad and miserable? and now you're trying to make everyone around you feel it? geez, I wonder
why nobody invites you to parties.
if you want to change, then start to. if you legit want help...this isn't the place...call a hotline and seriously
follow up. I don't want you killing yourself but I also know if you are serious about doing that we wouldn't know
about it. You just want attention but then when we offer you a solution and you either tell us we don't understand
or pile on other shit we didn't know was NOT wrong with you.
So either take the advice and start working toward something or SHUT THE FUCK UP. Stop dumping your fucking
bullshit on others. If you need a hug, just ask for a hug. Don't tell us all the reasons we should want to hug you then
turn away shyly and act like you didn't really need it to begin with. Fuck.
and don't do anything stupid for the sake of "I'll show him" because although I'd feel badly about it...I'd also know it was
WAY out of my control to help someone thatWON'T help themselves.

Your dream car is a fucking Accord for fucking fuck's sake.
Your DREAM car is a sub $10K car you could own. But instead you
have a million mile RDX you can somehow afford to maintain at the dealer
AND a fucking Kiayundai that you claim to love...
The sky is only falling your head. Don't you see that? If tomorrow you woke up and decided
the Kia was your dream car and being 5 feet all with feminine hands was fucking cool and you loved
yourself it would all of a sudden be the best day ever? Wow...what about the next day? Wow...
make it that too. You keep deciding that happiness is the past or some shitty unattainable car...
You are CHOOSING to be unhappy. I can almost guarantee you the times you are being sentimental
about missing you were miserable AT the time too.
Happiness isn't luck...happiness is a fucking choice...pick up "The Art of Happenis" and read at least
the first few pages and report back. I want to see you do well, Wes...but you have to want it for yourself.
But if you don't...and like a guy drowning...if you're trying to take the lifeguard down with you you can go
fuck yourself.

I replaced both door lock actuators in the 7G yesterday. Should have taken some pictures of the door panel spread wide open and my fists inside for MM to 'bate to.
Finna swap the steering wheel today if I've got time, I'll see about getting a video of breaking the main nut loose so MM can bust his nut to it.

That being said, the old adage of "stay in school" holds mostly true and if I read over what has been recommended to you: going for a degree/certification is almost always a good default path. You are "buying" your foot into the door but it's how the world works. People with degrees/diplomas/certification tend to earn more than those who do not. I am a hiring manager and let me say that by default, any CV that arrives in my inbox when I'm looking for staff without a university/college degree is automatically in the trash. Is it "fair"...? Will I throw out someone amazing without a diploma? Yes. But, if I'm starting with 300+ applicants, I need a filter and starting with a degree is the first one.
Of course, if you have say, a degree in botany with no intent of applying it in say, I dunno, cannabis or something useful, getting a degree for the sake of a degree is a complete waste of money. In other words, not all degrees are equal...obviously, if you have an engineering degree or bachelor of commerce, that goes a way longer way than say, a bachelor of arts majoring in psychology. The latter is pretty useless unless you are after a PhD in a prestigious school.
Anyways, off my soapbox.

Fair disclosure, I didn't read any of that previous walls of text so I have no clue what the real context was, but I'd like to offer the following...
Counterpoint: instead of getting your teeth *fixed*, just get them all knocked out. The premium for a toothless gummer over a toothy blowie is real. An entrepreneur would capitalize on that.

MM, you are your own master and ultimately, you have to do what you feel is best for you and what you have the capacity/motivation to pull off.

I totally understand you vetting applicants in that manner. When you have 300, you need to pick a few, quickly.
Not many of my family members or friends have degrees, and they're all doing quite well. In fact, my brother dropped out of 7th grade, granted, he later got a certification in auto body, welding and electrical, and he made over $100K a year. He did recently get a GED to get on with a different company, but the principal stands. My sister is going for elementary educator online through the rest of her GI bill. In fact, IDK if she's still taking the course, she's going through some really rough personal issues.
My mother has an associates degree in nursing. My father does absolutely nothing.
I'm still going to get the detail supplies and pick up a few jobs here and there just to make ends meet.
It's all a crazy plan. IDK what I'll end up doing. I did consider working the ramps years ago at the airport. If I can get GED relatively easily, it would definitely be worth it. Back when my mom took it, she just took the placement test and passed everything right then.
It's all worth a look.
I just hope to get over this sick feeling, it's really just ruining everything...

The key for a better future is to look at the past mistakes and try to avoid making them again. Stick to a routine that makes YOU BETTER! (you brushing your teeth 2x daily?) Spend some free time on learning how to meditate and how to do things! Youtube has TONS of information. Hell you could learn all the required education to get your GED for free from youtube! As far as your detail business is concerned, you'll have to start somewhere! Rather than buy your own supplies, have you thought about applying to local car-washes/detailing places to learn the trade? Sometimes the trade seems like it's something we want to do, but when we get to the gritty work it turns out it wasn't meant for you. Not saying this will happen, but before you gamble your future on it you should have some confidence in your abilities and what you can/can't do. You can post detail specials on craigslist and try to drum up business! Hell create a facebook/insta page and share that shit everywhere at car shows! If you rock it out with your cock out and put in the work, you could seriously be detailing exotics and be paid $250/hr! Hell you can even learn to do XPEL or 3M Clearbra type installs and make BANK! All the opportunities exist, it's up to you to man up and decide what route you want to take. You can spend forever being not sure and then BAM, out of time.
It's easy to fall back into the same trap that life isn't going to go anywhere and that is what kills folks from the inside out. There is a lot that science/medicine does not know about stress, but it really does kill you from the inside out.

Stress fucks you up.
but I also firmly believe your body and overall feeling follow whatever you tell it.
In which case being positive and choosing happiness and putting a plan into action
all come back to being within your ability or control. Is it easy? Definitely not.

Don't compare your blooper reel to everyone's highlight reel/finished film. Go to a local university that teaches dentistry and they will take care of you. At University of Florida, many dental students have to do supervised work on random folks for free and many homeless folks take advantage of it. You'll probably see ad's for it on craiglist/facebook every-so-often when the time rolls for them to do some work. Avoid ASPEN Dental and the like that sucker you into thousands of dollars of work that's unneeded.

OMG you read my mind!
THANK YOU, sincerely!!!
I just enrolled in the LSU dental program in Louisiana. I'll have to go twice a month until I'm done. This is one reason why I want to keep my current job. My boss can and will work with me needing time off. This is why I told him I need a location transfer. I do brush after I eat, but it's just too little, too late...
I plan to mainly solicite work for interior cleanings via FB garage sale or something. I can do this after I get off in the afternoon. If I get a few appointments a week, I will likely make more than my wash job in the morning. I need the was job for job security though.
I do feel rather dead inside sometimes. It's a shame, I know I'm better than that. I've given up a lot, then lost more I intended to keep. I watched my grandfather go crazy from dementia and lived there alone with him 24/7 for a year and a half. Then we got sitters during the day, which, they turned on me and convinced my brother my mom and I were evil. So, I guess I lost my brother. Heck, they even tried to get my sister involved but she distanced herself I think. God Bless them, I'm not mad, I just want to know why? Oh, and while I was gone my grandmother died. And now my great uncle has stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. He lived up there and we'd eat with him once a month. He finally retied about two years ago.
Moving on, both you and J mentioned that stress kills, and I couldn't aggree more. I'm fairly certain that part of this is stress induced.
I know I can live 60+ more years, it's just scary to think that I might actually have a real illness and maybe somehow I caused it. But once again, every test came back clear. I'm golden healthy according to two ER doctors and a graduating resident I saw.
I'd see an ENT but she cautioned me that they are not in network like the hospital is and it would cost a lot without insurance. I can maybe get into a program because of my low income, and quite honestly, I can't become a full blown self sufficient citizen before I'm healthy again, so I think I'm a candidate both financially and morally.
Thanks, guys! I need to get out of my head sometimes and just tell someone what's going on.
