Same thing happened to me with the Passat. Why do they always happen to be carrying $100 bills?

Just make sure you as you're combining and etc. for the first time. These are great toys and super high-quality but are obviously not meant to be abused...so, treat them accordingly. If you have some spare shelf space in say, an IKEA Detolf or similar, be sure to store these puppies in there with the note that Brachion should go to the base of the shelf since well, he's the heaviest.

Good Job.
Next time, remove the four air box cover bolts and it will facilitate the wrestle with the air flow tube.

Fuuuuuuck those Zords are sick! I always wanted the Green Ranger dagger when I was growing up... And a few years ago I saw it for sale again at Toys-R-Us. Went back a day later to buy myself one... it was sold out.

You know who to ask if you need any mecha.

Actually, pretty close to you up in Markham is a shop called Toy Square. Eric runs a neat hobby shop that sells some decent mecha and etc.
I haven't bought from him for awhile but he's a solid guy. Recommended and if anything, worth a visit sometime.

ive been thinking about doing something like that for my 3G TL, but i'd prefer something that looks more integrated.

Yeah, it ain’t stock. The popular alternatives seem to be Tesla style screen, which imo is a little too much and leaves your climate control etc vulnerable to malfunctions, or the simple double din which is too low and small of a screen to really be useful for navigation IMO..
Im pretty tempted tbh, I may rig up a piece of cardboard to simulate having to memorize the ac controls down there LOL

Woah.. that looks like an interesting option. Definitely a more stock look and you get that higher placement. Seems like a hell of a lot of work with the electrics though which I was hoping to avoid by just plugging in a double din with a wiring harness.

im too lazy to do that

But I don't really want that 2008 factory navigation and I'm not too fussed about the OEM look.. I just want big, visible carplay for navigation and music! I think this Jensen Car10 unit is probably the one for me, I can probably install it myself and then talk to a local shop about possibly mounting the screen up at the top of the dash

Congrats!
One of my favorite feelings is getting a new car on the road once it's been registered.
