Yeah, I think they're all on strike. Whatever few days ago when it was in the 60s I saw them going in and out, but once the temps dropped there's no activity.
Supposedly, that's just what they do to make it through winter. Just hunker down in the hive and keep it warm, eating the honey they stored away in the fall.
Wife's getting low on her bee puke supply, so she might need to go rob them. All Ivan Drago style. If they die...... they die.

Titanus was severely underutilized by the power rangers. Why not ultrazord the fuck out of every monster?

Bees! Like fuzzy little me's.
Depending on how it goes in the spring, I might try to get a little bit of bee puke to try making into mead.

Been dealing with getting new homeowners insurance for the past week. Due to an unfortunate cascade of events that started from my last insurance company just deciding to stop doing personal insurance; I've had to talk to strangers on the telephone, ultimately getting new policies in place. But man, I do not A) like talking to people on the phone, and B) like doing the insurance hustle. Whereas I used to, and have always had, one policy that covered everything for a giant sum of money... now I have three policies to cover everything, for two moderate sums of money and one giant one.
FFS. All I want to do is hoodrat shit with my friends. Not talk to the nice ladies at InsuranceCo.

Yeah, it's a clusterfuck.
I mean, not something I deal with every day; the last time I even thought about it, was when I bought the house like 12 years ago. But the layers are ridiculous.
I call Person at Local Insurance Company. They get quotes from three Global Mega Insurance Corps and send me the competitive one. Oh, but wait, it's really three different MegaCorps because they all cover something different. So I say, sure, put that on me and then I get forms to sign. And looking through the forms, Global Mega Corp Insurance Company doesn't actually *provide* the insurance, that's some other Underwriter Company or some shit. So, if I'm calculating right, the degrees from me, taking the dollars out of my wallet, and putting them into the pocket of the company ultimately willing to pay out if something happens, is at least 4.
Insurance is a scam.

Yeah, the kinda bitch of it all too, is that the new home policy ended up with Progressive as the company that was most competitive. That happens to be the same company I've got for my auto. And they're they were the ones that fucked with me when the grey truck got hit so I was planning to drop them in the new year. But now they're getting my money still, even if I do switch to a gecko or other animated critter.
Bastards.

Back in the day, I got all my CDs by jackin' fools with those big binders of discs. 10,000 CDs, not a jewel case or insert booklet in sight.

Not really. I got my CDs at the flea market. Holes punched in the barcodes.
