Every day since March 23 has essentially been exactly the same. Like in the Bill Murray movie, Groundhog Day.

Null and proud of it
So, a Cat 2, almost Cat 3, blew through NOLA today.
I left, assuming I'd be stuck without power and under marshal law if I stayed.
Came back to check out the damage.
I'm on the only residental block with electricity that I saw from Kenner to Metairie.
We are 95% without power.

A little extra spirits in your coffee and a little extra oomph in your kicks to the dog but as you know, eventually both side steps end up on the vehicle
one way or another.
FWIW based on all your personal shares, I think you're doing a bang up job of dealing with the situation.

Also picked up a PS4 Pro so I just been playing Call of Duty while my copy of Final Fantasy VII:Remake collects dust
other than that, I haven't done shlt.
I suppose i should make an effort to clean up the house. I did spend a weekend a few months ago breaking down old amazon boxes to recycle and threw out some of the trash.

Wonder if the new jerb is going to interfere with all those TikTok twerking videos he's been making.
Probably just do it in the office now. Be one of those thots.

Sounds like that gamble at the last place, moving from tapes to IT, paid off even if it wasn't how it was supposed to, eh?
That's pretty cool. Time to stock up on office supplies and single ply TP from the office!

I was actually fixing the 9-track machines and setting up SCSI devices, CCTV, networks, building computers and re-imaging them. fucking around with electronics, desolding and soldering components.
Even got to fuck around with the building's 25-ton A/C unit...three phase 500volts!
which led to an impressive resume and knew which direction I wanted to lean into...Computer hardware/IT. I really enjoy the electrical engineering aspect, but alas this new job is strictly software IT. which is cool too!

Is it even possible to steal a job in Canadastan? Don't they just give them to you and apologize profusely for not having done it quicker?

Gwai-ro privilege is still IMO, around frankly (and on a serious note, dealing with it internally at work regarding a rather sordid set of incidents).
Honestly? While there are less full-stupid people up here, I find Canadians are not as friendly as peeps back home TBH. Sure, maybe more polite but I lump proper manners along with those Karens/Kevins that stand out more in the US. There are way less of those up here in Canada. And sure, there are no machine guns up here which I don't mind.

That's pretty fucked up considering you can get shot in the face for no reason in Chi-Raq just minding your own business.
I bet that has a lot to do with the fact that the Canadian *average* is pulled way down by the massive, gravity defying, extreme asshole bitchass mark trick snitch Taco. If he were to go on a romantic date with cinder blocks, I bet yummy would feel differently about canadiaanas.
