The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (ʎluO sɹǝsoo7)
No,
However, a childhood friend reached out to me yesterday to extend his condolences (loss of a family member) to my family. He moved out there about a year ago for work. He specializes in welding for the Army corps. He can't wait to relocate. Hope that helps a bit.
Sorry to hear about that loss G,
I really appreciate it <3
It's been a rough few days. It's harder when you're left doing the funeral planning. My wife has been a wreck and I've been doing my best to comfort her. It doesn't help that I'm also very busy with work, so I'm overwhelmed myself. I'm just glad that she's finally at peace and not suffering. Hard to see the person you care for decline so quickly in two years (after the loss of her husband) and worse as dementia takes it toll. You feel empty and helpless as you see your love one slip away right in front of your eyes and there's nothing you can do to change it.

My condolences too, Gus. I know you and your wife have been through some rough things in the past couple years.
I too witnessed my grandfather decline with dementia, it's tough in a way that's hard to deal with.

I totally misread that as a friend of a friend that had a family member pass...like thrice removed...
didn't realize it was YOU until I reread. Very sorry to hear that.
