Its legal here. I take it to the gun range often. I do not even have a concealed permit anymore. Gonna get a Florida non-resident one because it is accepted in more states than if I just get one in my current state.

Some of those are my dads. He was a deputy when I was younger.
I avoid the law.
I almost bought a 1911 last year but did not. My dad has a colt manufactured in WW1 carried in WW2 by my grandfather with a very low serial number.
Instead I am building another AR for a short barrel silenced build.
My .45 is an XD 4" bbl 13 rd capacity.

My dad enjoyed being a cop.
Florida laws won't be getting much stricter. Its one of the few states that support gun ownership. Like Texas.
Yes NM is shit but making over 6 figures is pretty nice.

Dad brought home some magazines for gear.. one mag had a HK section for feds. They had a briefcase with a hidden MP5 in it and a trigger on the handle.
I think he still has thousands of copper jacketed hollowpoint rounds for 357, 9mm, and 40 which he amassed over the years for quals.

Talking about the trayvon whatever thing?? No gun ban advocates will try to push it hard but the NRA is already on it.
I don't think it will come of much. Florida just passed a couple years ago a looser law on shooting people on private property and the no flee law. If you feel threatened you no longer have to "try" to get away first. You can just start shooting.
I would be more worried about bath salts.

I pulled my car into the garage as the 1st piece of hail hit the windshield. Damn that was close. It pelted down for about 20 minutes. I would have been very pissed to have hail damage on my car.

Yeah was coming back from store been home all day. Mowed, bought a new dryer (last one took a shit) cleaned out garage. Went to go get steaks and potatoes to grille out. Came out of the store - Rain , pulled in driveway - Hail hauled ass down street and alley and while garage door was opening - Bam.
