The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread
Just got back from the honda dealership. Had the pressure switches and transmission fluid changed. They said it took 3.8 qts for fluid and took them an 1hr 1/2 to do the switches. Kind of an odd outcome of how much it took (all 4 red line bottles) since most people get 3 qts. Also took a little more time to do the switches then people on here. Overall its my favorite mechanic shop so it was worth it. Car shifts without feeling any hesitation and is smooth shifts.

Only problem i see with paying $100 for all of that was the use of all 4qts of the fluid.

To the best of my knowledge, today was the first time this vehicle was driven in snow.
With the current tires it has by far the least traction of any FWD vehicle i've driven in snow. I was struggling with little drifts in plowed parking lots. It's otherwise quite stable and brakes fine.
No you dolt. You need to make sure VTEC is fully charged up. The blinker fluid is so you get better gas mileage. How long have you been on this forum?
I drove an Accord with dedicated summer tires, that were usually bald or even belting by winter, for several years and it was more capable at accelerating in snow than my TL as it sits. The rear end in the Accord was really squirrely, but it was fine otherwise. The TL has all seasons with about 2K on them and no camber wear.
I'm not complaining, just commenting. If the roads are bad, I just won't take the TL.

been gone for awhile, this semester was SHIT. Also just got back surgery to correct a herniated disc from deadlifting right before christmas. Finally can just relax. And I wish I had snow in Delaware
Even my summer tires are squirrley in temps below 50 degrees. I will be putting all-seasons on for the winter just based on temps.
When it does snow here there is no way I am driving my TL. That is due to other drivers. My TL handled fine at 70 in snow / ice road conditions last year.
I disengaged vtec though. Too much powa!!

This has been one loooooonggggg and hard month. And the cherry was this

Happened yesterday. I was coming home from visiting family and the Lexus infront of me decided to run over a 4x4x6 piece of lumber instead of swerving. I swerved but it caught me still and now after 3 months my bitch is going back to the shop Wednesday. Super
.Yes it is, and compared to what most of our cars have for milage, 14k-28k are both pretty much brand new (in my eyes). It's hard to find one with so few miles.
i wasnt being hard on you. Sorry if I came across that way.I understood what you meant.

i bought my kbp 2 years ago with 28k on it for 24k...
