Nope. The 5.56 is the NATO round. Dimensionally they have the same proportions, but the 5.56 is a hotter round (more powder hence the price difference). You need to have a barrel chambered for both to shoot both. You could breach if you shoot 5.56 out of a .223. Not likely....but possibly.

Economics my son. Why drive a tank to work when a Rabbit gets 42mpg.

The cost and availability of the rounds are not worth the trade off IMO.

firing a fucking cannon is no sure bet, but I bet you I empty a full 22 clip into you before you get the 2nd one off. Of course, I don't shoot a 22, but I sure wouldn't bad mouth someone who does.

reminds me of the scene from get shorty.. guy starts blabbing about his shit pea shooter.. bang bang bang.. skip to 1:37

When I was growing up, this was all the protection we needed. You win some, you lose some. But you live. You live to fight another day.

Yes you can, stop being a bitch dawg!

If you want to run your OEM shocks just get the Tein springs.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9SIA1520A59983

Amazon Amazon

But, Glenn has a good shock, AND they're adjustable

I just can't drop $550 bones. Well, I can but I won't. Really only want springs. Don't care about adjustability either.

I don't condone being a bitch and pulling out a gun in a fist fight. I also don't preach the excessive use of force. If some homeless guy pops my window for some change in the center console, I'm not going into kill mode. I have a certain faith and perspective that I hold dearly. But that doesn't mean I'm ignorant to the threats out there. I avoid confrontation as best I can, including where I fill my tank and what parts of town I go, and what I say in a heated situation.. but you can't avoid them all.

Glen, how many miles were on your shocks when you blew the front one? I hope I don't have that situation, but if I do I guess Konis here I come. She can't say no to repairs right

I think I blew my intermediate shaft bearing. Rough 1st to 2nd engagement when cold, brake shudder even though I'm on new fluid, whirring sound when downshifting to engine brake.. fuck. I'll be busy this weekend. I should probably just replace everything while I'm in there. Hmm...

I like my .22 pistols. 10 shots with no recoil. Try that with a .45

And NATO rounds are the way to go. Ammo will always be available.

Yeah I will be picking up a FN FNX-9 as my next handgun.

I have a couple more AR-15's to build for some family members. Working on a 20" A2 at the moment.

So, where were you when your guns sunk? Lake? River? Have you thought about a large magnet on a rope?

I loved my 9mm in the military (240b gunner) but when I got out decided to go with a glock 23 for the .40 which packs a lot more recoil but is a solid weapon.

Got my first cast iron skillet today and cooked up some Ribeyes the 'Alton Brown method'. They were Fking amazing with just some salt and pepper and a dash of oil. When they got done I put a little pad of butter on them, when they were "resting". I highly recommend you trying it at least once.

I honestly didn't even know these were still around/popular. But apparently this is a very preferred way to cook some seriously good shit!
